It's not free to do that,.and to also do the needed 4k rerender or re-edit of effects. It costs a lot of money. And if the disc isn't going to sell gangbusters (IB isn't popular enough to do so) it won't be financially justified. The studios don't release these discs as a charity

Still all about the upscale. Almost every page has a new member asking the same question.
I'm becoming a believer myself. Bought the DVD instead. Whats the difference if its just an upscale? I'll just upscale the DVD myself with my fokay teevee.

It's a 2K DI from 2009. It will look gorgeous. BD already does.

Aye just even looking at Brads scar. It's like 70% better resolved on the UHD Blu. And this is of course without seeing HDR and the increased colour bit depth.
