I've never understood shaky cam. They said they were going for a 'documentary style.' Last I checked, tripods are cheap.

Sequel in 2014?

While I really can't wait to see more of this Superman, I'm a little worried about such a fast-tracked sequel.

Article also has a little bit about the discussion of "how don't people know Clark is Superman?"

A huge screw up imo

[Show spoiler]The conspiracy nut says on live TV that Lois knows the alien, now someone who looks like the alien works with Lois at The Daily Planet...
Add that to all the people who probably know who he is already.

That whole Clark Kent disguise is busted right there, might as well just change it up and make it public knowledge.

I read about this too. I don't believe it. No way on Earth they can get a movie out next year. Isn't Henry signed up right now for something else too. I can see Nov, Dec 2015 doable.

have to say it was awesome. im glad they gave marvel a run for their money. at first I was a little turned off by this more reckless superman, but by the end it fit with the universe created. supes was a rookie and it showed. he was emotional and that's what made him "human."

I agree its also the whole Superman don't kill. Well he killed Doomsday and I'm thinking that's not the only time.

I have seen where people are saying where is the Superman that saves a cat from a tree or as someone said stop some kids from walking into traffic and then giving the spill of always look both ways before you cross the street or "statistically speaking flying is still the safest way to travel."

I may be wrong but when was the last time Superman did something like that in a comic 1984?

Maybe its just me but as I have told several people this is more like the Superman I read about each month.

One other thing
[Show spoiler]about the ending when Perry introduces Clark Kent to everyone Lois knows who he is (she isn't stupid and think this is another Clark Kent) you could tell by how she smiled and said hello. What was she going to do jump up and say YOU or SUPERMAN!

Also about Clark wearing glasses its worked from Comics to TV to Movies for 75 years. I see no reason to change it and no I don't think it makes characters look like idiots to fooled by glasses and business suite. I mean haven't we all seen someone you know at a wedding or funeral or something dressed up for the first time and say "hey, It took me a minute to realize who you were dressed like that."

Dumbest story ever. No way they could ever have a movie out in 18 months. They had to be morons to even believe their own story.

Ya, it sure was a kind of raw, cowboy Superman. I swear I think I grew some more chest hairs after watching it three times. It helps the feminine voice I developed after watching Superman Returns.

how about Superman with some chest hair - has to be a first in all the movie/tv versions. my sister just over the shot of him coming out of the water. all I could think was "does Superman worry about shrinkage too?"

The end fight reminded me of Matrix Revolutions. I imagine that is what it would have looked like with today's technology...and if it was turned up to 11.

I for one was just happy to see a Superman that causes destruction. It is the type of damage I would picture the Hulk doing.

Wait a min!! First before The Dark Knight films , years before there was Dark knight comic books , same thing with Superman. These writers borrowed things from these comic books The Dark Knight comics were very dark indeed and Superman had a dark and gloom doom time himself.

Every bodys worried MOS is dark and gloomy , the comic books already have done this. Don't put the cart before the horse Mmmm. Kids that have read these comics are already prepared for MOS. Its no accident Zack went this route.

I agree.
[Show spoiler] The way the film flowed at this point it almost seems somewhat pointless for him to even have an alter ego.
