Well you also could put some of the text in yellow (using different shades of yellow... such as the one used for the luggage)...

@Nissen: LOVE IT!!!!

Prepping my "Patton" custom and I need an opinion on two posters I am considering for the front (the UK Quad goes on the back). The two choices are:

or

I have high res versions of each, but can't decide....is it me or does Scott not look like Scott on the second one?

Love this but I seen a custom cover for this await back and they put the 20th century fox logo upside down it was a nice hidden addition, just an ideal

Alphadec,

I know you feel very strongly about using the original theatrical posters when it comes to custom covers, but I feel that they really let down the movie on that US poster. I considered it but when it comes down to it it consists mostly of wide open white space interspersed with text.

The reason I eventually started looking elsewhere is precisely because the US poster was so uninspiring. I am using the British Quad on the back and if I had more time or energy I might try to rearrange that Quad for a front cover but as you know from Nissen's 007 series for you that's not always an easy task.

The overriding opinion on here as well as Blu-ray.com is for the top one. I am just waiting for Imrahil to jump in and offer his dissenting opinion

JAWS Retro VHS Cover Created for me by Nissen:

Did you ever notice that on the MCA VHS Cover the girl is swimming in the opposite direction?

I looked back a few hundred pages and found them,
The correct cover dimensions for a Criterion case are 3240 x 1894 pixels (@ 300 pixels/inch), which converts to 274.32 x 160.36mm

Yeah, I noticed they flipped it so I did the same in my recreation. The only thing I didn't stay faithful to was that they placed the Jaws title in the water between the shark's nose and the girl. It just looked too arbitrarily placed.

Does anyone know where I can get the Blu-ray cover art for Jolene?

My cover art got completely ripped and I'd like to print out a new one. Pretty much no one owns this movie and I can't find a good quality scan of the Blu-ray cover or a custom cover.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is anyone interested in custom criterion inserts for the customs that RDZ and others have done? I completed a Boogie Nights that will have to be printed on double sided paper. It is a simple cut and paste job. 2 Theatrical posters, one for the front and one for the back and a photo collage for the inside. I would show pics of it printed but i'm out of ink and no money to buy more
I have also begun printing all the criterions with inside art to immulate the real criterion covers more closely. As soon as I get some ink to print some out with I will take some pics on my phone and attempt to post them.
