Those X-Files covers are fantastic!

Also, DrrnHarr, even though I won't be needing those WW2 covers, they look amazing. Great job.

Your covers are nice Umbridge. Is that Bridget Jones cover for a possible real movie?

I'll make two versions since I kinda like the other back image as well.

Look closely and you'll notice I sneaked a 1977 era United Artists logo onto the back cover. I grew up with the TransAmerica UA logo that adorned the UA movies from 1967 to 1982.

Here are the two WIPs.

The original:

The redo:
I redid a back cover in this ALTERNATE cover. I am having trouble making the special features text readable.

Just amazing Drrn! Both are wonderful even though I prefer the first back...love the old logo as I grew up with it too!

Until it gets closer to release date and I can add the full confirmed list of features, I think I'm done with my Enter the Dragon cover:

Only thing I can see doing is maybe replacing some elements with higher-quality sources in the future (things like the WHV logo text were created from some pretty low-res materials, but it should print out OK).

Comments and critiques appreciated, of course.

On to the next one!

I have over 600 DVDs and close to 100 blurays... I use to create the VHS and VCD labels and covers all the time, but now doing my DVDs with some new covers I was looking for something with less color using more white to avoid draining my inks on every cover I create... of course some will be colorful but the common white side looks good on the shelf...

here's one I did for Predator too... black and white with just a bit of color. Most will only use images on front and back as most of the covers don't need the synopsis, images, or all the little pieces telling about studio, sound and so forth.

Here's my basic white cover with just the images for Judge Dredd... not the new DREDD, but that one will be similar... wasn't sure if I wanted to go with the comic style images or shots from the films... In the end DREDD feels like it's about the comics.

Finally had the chance to continue on my Gremlins covers.

Here's the progress so far, so it shouldn't be much too long now.

Do you think that shot of Willow and the wand on the back looks a little too "lightsaber-ish", even for a LucasFilm production?

I do love the front: I'm pretty much a purist when it comes to having the original theatrical one-sheet as the cover art for the video releases. As far as I can recall Willow *never* had that, not even on VHS!

Always nice to see something different. I like these a lot. And your Predator 2 reminded me of an abandoned version I started for Predator last year. The client wanted options, so I made these rough mock-ups:

I'm not saying which one he chose, but as a rule clients never choose the designer's favourite :-) It's just one of those things.
