Copied from 2 posters, one from U.K. and one from U.S.A.

I love your version of Goldfinger. There were so many version of Goldfinger posters, it's tough to choose which one to make into cover. I created a cover with that poster of yours too. But in the end I chose to print the most used one

As you can see I didn't change the back of the cover, I kept the official one, because what really matters to me is the front of the cover.

You are a true artist man, I'm speechless. Where did you find the back cover for ROTF, you created it ?

Default Lost Booklets

I've been working on booklets/inserts for the Lost season box-sets for a while now. Since I received Season 5 this morning I've now almost finished them all.

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3 (US 6 Disc Version)

Season 3 (UK 7 Disc Version) - Coming Soon

Season 4

Season 5

Season 5 UK HMV Exclusive

Season 3 - I will finish the UK booklet when I receive it (hopefully on monday).
Season 5 - The front cover isn't the highest quality, if I can find a higher quality I will update it. I've printed it out and I don't think it looks bad.

I have also been working on a booklet for Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles. I've only done season 1 so far because season 2 hasn't been released in the UK yet. I can finish it if someone can either PM the disc details, e.g. what episodes/special features are on which discs or can point me to somewhere I can get that info.

Season 1

Hey Idioteque...,

Thanks for the comments. I won't be making any more changes to it, mainly because I am really happy with how it is, and also because unfortunately I can't make it so that everyone thinks it's perfect.

The text I can't make bigger, because it would disrupt the flow of the back, and I never put the little picture boxes on the spine (except for my Blu-Series covers), I think they look tacky.

I appreciate your suggestions reguardless. I am limited with time, so it would take forever if I made alterations for everyone.

Most of the covers I am doing lately are requests for Blu-Series ones, unless there is one that I really want to do like Prestige or Jumper.

I hope those Bunny conversions that were just posted will work for you, he makes some great covers!

Hey can you try out Machinist and Rescue Dawn? Lol why am I requesting Christian Bale films? Oh and please try Children of Men as well. Thanks it would be appreciated.

As For Machinist, I think the dvd artwork is the best to work with lol. http://www.impawards.com/2004/machinist_ver4.html

Not a bad Rescue Dawn, I would prefer the Rescue Dawn font instead and I never like the Christian Bale face for Machinist. Would like to see other tries at said movies.

I was wondering if anyone could make a Star Trek: Nemesis Blu-Ray cover that resembles the covers of the Trek movies released individually; like Wrath of Kahn, Voyage Home, Undiscovered Country and First Contact?

Any help would be awesome, as are all of these covers that I've seen throughout the forum.

Default Slip Covers and Set-Boxes...

So, here's a question.

Obviously this thread is mainly for custom cover art to slide into an existing BD case.

Has anyone here ever tried making their own Slipcovers and/or a box-set box to put a series of movies in?

I know in general, more often than not, slip covers are redundant as they tend to just repeat the artwork on the actual case. However, I tend to like them, and save them whenever my movies come with them.

I don't necessarily mind movies not having them at times, and wouldn't want to make them for every movie. But, with Blu-Rays (MUCH more so than with DVDs) when you have a movie with a slipcover sitting next to one without one on the shelf, they really don't look right together.

I've attempted to create and organizational system that simply has all of the slipcover movies next to each other followed by the non slipcover movies...

BUT, the problem is when I have one movie without one and it's sequel with one, and i want to keep them side by side. Good examples would be the Harold and Kumar movies and the newer Batman films.

They released the first Harold and Kumar on Blu-Ray at the same time that the 2nd came out on both DVD and Blu-Ray for the first time. The 2nd movie has a slip cover, the first doesn't. The same with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, first has none, and the second does (and it's worse with Dark Knight since its different art on the clipcover and actual case art... I wouldn't even consider throwing that cover away).

So, I'd like to make slip covers for movies that fall under those situations (possibly with front and/or back artwork that differs some from the actual cover to make it a little different). But, I have no idea about the dimensions, let alone what kind of material to get to print it on, how to properly cut it and put it together so it fits tightly (but not TOO tight) around a BD case, etc.

Has anyone tried this (or making box-set boxes) and have any advice on how to go about this?

Any info would be appreciated.

Idioteque...

Ease up on the nitpicking man. These guys don't work for you and its not your place to tell them what to do. They do it on their own time and their own dime. You either take what they have to offer or keep looking.
Or better yet, make your own.

+1 Thank you! I'm happy to see that the hard work is appreciated. I can't stand those who criticize so much when they don't even try to do ones for themselves.

DV8, your customs are amazing. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Do you have your TF: ROTF cover with Starscream cover saved before you added the title and "our world, our war" words added? I'm only asking because I plan to use it for my cover, but under the slipcover. So I'd like to have the "Imax version" words on it but no other words.

Sorry I know that's really specific and asking a lot. I was just wondering if you have something like that saved from when you were creating the cover. If not, np Thanks again for sharing these awesome covers.

Also, I'm new to this--where can buy some blu-ray plastic covers?
