I really need to start making up some templates for some of mine and slowly work on getting them done. I am sure it has been asked many times, but since there is nothing linked in the OP does anyone have some links to good tutorials to do this.

I am kind of newb when it comes to stuff like this. I can get the steelbooks a part...that is not the issue. I just need help on the template (size and whatnot) and I will probably just save them to a USB stick and go to Walmart or somewhere to print them.

I will have to look into gimp again. The last time I DL'ed it (about a month ago) it took my companies IT guy 4 days to clean off the spy/ad/malware that it installed in my laptop.

Oh wow.. I never had a problem, though it's been a couple years since I last used it. I used Gimp 2.8 on my Mac. The one video I posted shows the guy using photoshop instead. I have photoshop also, just haven't tried making steelbook art with it. The template I posted should work in any program though.

this might not be the right place, but does any have or could possibly get the zavvi exclusive artwork for the mockingjay steel in hi res? i prefer it to my best buy one and wanna try replacing it.

So my crappy little HP 2512 inkjet printer creates some surprisingly decent photo prints. The only problem is that after about four, it starts to run out of ink...this is not cost efficient since color ink cartridges are about $15 a piece, at the cheapest. Anyone know the best service to print out photo prints? I have my own legal size matte paper, just need a cost efficient place to print them out. Thanks.

My first stab at interior artwork. I didn't do the spine because I messed up the measurements. I really honestly didn't feel like going through the process of removing the spine, either. Haha. I'll practice on a bent steelbook I have.

I went for a grayscale picture because I feel it looks a bit classy with the all-black exterior of Spectre. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

For those of you who are doing the inside or artwork without the spine, are you just printing off 5x7 pics and trimming them to fit??

5.25" x 6.75" is a perfect fit for each side.
