Silly thing to argue, but then again I'm a silly bastard. July 7th was the first day for pre-orders. They announced it on their Facebook page, and I gave them my money mere minutes later. My bank statement says so. Lol

Not when you get the copy. Nope, I do not work for them. But I know they've been slaving away at this damn thing night and day. They've hit some snags and they've made people aware of it. Should they be a bit more cordial? Yes. Should people be flipping out here about it, leading some to even say they are scamming and we're never going to get a copy of this? Definitely not. PLEASE continue trashing them and complaining. It will make your copy show up that much faster. |

I ordered last Friday 9/7. Paid via Paypal (used a partial credit) and have not received shipping notification. There may be no rhyme or reason to the shipping unless it's based on location.
I do think in all fairness that the people who ordered it early on should be the ones shipped to first. |

Okay, I see where it's not confirmed that anybody who ordered it substantially later than the pre-order start date has gotten a shipping notification. Just some people who ordered in the first few days. Still possible that they did chronological shipping, if not notification.

I get that this being a small company it may take them longer to get things out to people and that is understandable, I'll try to be as patient as possible. The only thing that is killing everything is moving the date from August 27th to Friday the 13th. I mean as an obsessed fan of the series, having bought the first two sets, the new one, and the dvds through the years, I am a little bit ticked off that this pre-order wasn't made available to me today.
The whole thing was very poorly handled. They might as well have kept the august 27th date and toyed with us until Friday the 13th that way I could have it and celebrate it. What is the point of them posting all these Facebook statuses that they are available today and blah blah when that's not the case. It being a pre-order should mean we get everything on release date. Now correct me if i'm wrong, they may not have ever said that it would ship on the 13th, but why is it that the flaunt date is today. OOO let me celebrate this magical day while waiting for a shipment I placed a while ago still NOT get the shipping status. Very dissatisfied. I had no problems getting Never Sleep Again when I put in the pre-order and got it a day early actually. Just confused on this sloppy mess |

A lot of the delay had to do with them trying to appease as many fan complaints as possible to begin with... why no DVD, why no subtitles, etc.

i think some people are just a little "spoiled" by the american amazon's work at delivering their pre-orders ahead of time. but not everyone does that and nobody has to do that. that isn't a rule or promise for anyone to keep. i can't speak for the other canadians here but i've rarely received pre-orders ahead of time....it happens from time to time but i can count on one hand without a thumb how often thats happened in my lifetime. most of the time (especially with amazon.ca) pre-orders are shipped on release day so i dont have them until 1-3 business days later or a week or more if its a non canadian website. |
