So, the UK set does not appear to have the SLV on Blu-ray.

"This 5-disc set includes the new Director’s Edition, the theatrical cut, and a special longer cut all on 4K Ultra HD along with the newly remastered director’s cut on Blu-ray™, the previously released theatrical cut on Blu-ray™ and special features on Blu-ray™."

I wonder if they'll have more cardboard slots for the two extra discs, or if there will be a case for them.

As of now it appears the SLV is a 4K exclusive.

I don't recall ever ordering from Amazon UK before. For those that have had orders from the UK shipped to the USA, how was the packaging? Did your items arrive in decent shape? Hopefully they will pack "across the pond" packages well, right?

I'll post again what I wrote in the 6-Movie set thread:

The TC and the TV Cut of TMP will be on one disc?

I hope that means they fixed the ugly filtering on some FX shots instead of branching the flawed scenes now also for the TV Cut...

They should just digitally erase him. No one would notice. Or replace him with Jar Jar.

Wish we could get Kevin Spacey to replace stvn1974 and his weak attempts at being humorous

With the Special Long Version being included in the deluxe set I wonder if the deleted scenes included on the special features will be remastered?

I've been using them for book-style packages ever since I picked up that Bond 50 set a decade ago.

I really don't mind; I'll sit this one out.

I think Geoff mentioned a while ago, but just echoing how incredible it would be if the Deluxe TMPDE UHDs are unfu**ed by DNR. I won't even care about the however-many dips.

Oops. I was thinking playing a 4k in a 4k player and sending it to a 1080p projector. Need to lay off the Saurian Brandy fer cryin' oot lood.

I wouldn’t count on it, willing to bet it’s the same theatrical cut from last year with the deleted scenes branched in where necessary.

Another source is saying that the deluxe edition includes a newly-authored 4K of the previously-released Theatrical Cut from last year. So apparently it sounds like the theatrical version in this deluxe edition is not the same...so like is it a new transfer? Look I think it's great that Paramount is finally doing these movies justice but like another member mentioned earlier, this is just a cluster-F*ck of a release and could not be more confusing.

YES! I've been saying this exact thing sans SLV would be my dream release and if this is true then it's even BETTER!

This is the kind of crap that's really frustrating. The funny thing is, you know the special longer edition will find it's way online, so there will be "other" ways of finding it later after it's out of print. But for all of us that want to actually buy the product and support the release, they're making it almost impossible to do so. How many releases are there, and only one contains this edition, and it's a big bloated unnecessary bling edition that's expensive, huge, extremely limited, and uses cardboard sleeves! Is this Paramount showing us the love again?

Nice job, Paramount!
