Except we have a new line as part of it.

Whose to say Anakin is dead dead? I'm positive we won't see him, but I wouldn't be surprised if the line is from a flashback. Luke could commune with ghost yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin. To him, his father may not truly be dead in the traditional sense.

I really hope Rey (Kira) is Luke's daughter. That'd be crazy awesome!

The bolded is wrong. I just had a derp moment on the line from Jedi. Whoops.

May be an alt take, plus Mark is a voice artist.

That's what I thought, but "you have that power too" is actually from earlier in that speech to Leia.

You know, I hope this new Sith, Kylo Ren is it? I hope he's not just another Darth Maul, if you get my drift.

Did you all notice the "vader-like" echo of the words Luke is speaking in the new teaser trailer?

Such cool Audio! Already watched it in our Home Theater

Pretty striking how much Daisy Ridley looks like Natalie Portman in the trailer.

Agreed, but I don't think it will happen. I question whether the original characters will even be in the upcoming movies after...maybe they are just used to serve as a re-launch of the new movie with the new characters then "taking over." The original characters serving as a transition in this movie.

I caught that too, VERY cool indeed.

And I agree with the lonely late nighter: Daisy Ridley does indeed look a hell of a lot like Portman, must be all these Brit girls with high cheekbones.

Why bother? The trailer looks good and it hits the nostalgic button but the Millennials in the audience will just ruin the screening. Yay. Han Solo with a 50 smartphone screens lighting up the theatre. I miss seeing films in the 70s and 80s. It was just better.

We rarely get that in the UK, luckily.

We did have lighters and the tips of cigarettes in the 80s.

Could she be The Collector??? Holy shit......mind BLOWN.

I've long held the belief that if the new movies feature prequel references (and, more importantly, further context to those events) along with the continuation of the story then it might actually bring the prequels in from the cold. They won't ever be rehabbed completely in the minds of some, but it'd be one of cinema's finest achievements if JJ made a movie that tied it all together far better than what the creator ever could.

It's just a theory.
