I just ordered the original Shaun Costello version released by After Hours Cinema on DVD earlier this morning. If Dark Force ever releases a multi-disc set with ALL the versions they've got in their possession, I would go for that one as well. If they want to do a Blu of Shaun Costello's OG, I'd be in for that too!

If anyone is going to do a Blu-ray of the original Forced Entry, it'll be After Hours unless elements or another theatrical print are found. After Hours has the only 16mm print as far as I know.

We need a big lavish Forced Entry box set that has the original Forced Entry, the various cuts of The Last Victim/Forced Entry, and the 2002 Lizzie Borden remake. The obscenity case against the latter probably makes this idea an impossibility (as if anyone would really release such a package under any circumstances), but it would be pretty cool. The SOV Lizzie Borden remake is a remake in name only but is an interesting experiment in combining XXX with a gory slasher and ends with some funny outtakes that prove it's only a movie.

It's this one. The one that got her some prison time for distributing obscenity, I believe.

Extreme adult film library was sold to Danny. I know him, he owns alot of porn like Let my puppet come and other old and recent films. I know Rob Zicari might have bought it back, but I'll ask them both,

Is Lizzy film any good?

The Extreme library includes some cool and bizarre movies, but I think they're all shot on video, aren't they?

The Lizzy Borden remake is okay for what it is (a low-budget slasher/XXX hybrid), but it's no masterpiece. I'll add some spoiler tags to my summary, even though I doubt anyone really cares:

The original Forced Entry was careful to incorporate some "socially redeeming" social commentary, but the Lizzy Borden remake is straight-up rape fantasy. It's about a guy who is inspired by real-life Satanic serial killer Richard Ramirez to go on his own killing spree. Most of the movie is presented as found footage from a video camera held by one of the killer’s accomplices, similar to August Underground. The assaults are bookended with silly newscasts about the crimes. Despite all the violence, the film is bloodless until the final scenes, because
[Show spoiler]the killer suffocates his first victim and shoots his second victim off camera
. That changes when the killer and his friend abduct a woman who’s having car trouble; she comes to a bloody end, after which the killer places a photo of Ramirez on her chest in tribute. Afterward,
[Show spoiler]a mob of men on the street recognizes the killer from the newscasts and kills him
. The sex throughout is rough, with a lot spitting, slapping, and choking. To prove to viewers that it was all in good fun, the movie ends with a blooper reel that shows the actresses receiving direction and breaking into laughter during the brutal scenes.

The most interesting part of the movie is what resulted from it. The TV show Frontline visited the set of the Forced Entry remake for an episode called "American Porn," which turned out to be a lame exposé about the evils of pornography. The Frontline crew not only dramatically stormed off the set in disgust but also filmed itself storming off the set in disgust, adding a layer of theatricality to whatever genuine outrage the crew might have felt. Tom Byron, co-owner of the studio that was producing the remake, later said of the Frontline crew, “They all staged that whole thing. They staged their walkout.”

As a result of the Frontline episode, the government opened an obscenity case against Lizzy and Rob Zicari, and both were sent to prison.

They were sent to Prison for their sick extreme teen series that was targeted toward pedophiles, not the Forced Entry remake.

Actually Rob Black and Lizzy Borden were indicted for 5 different movies, I was wrong and Forced Entry was one if the 5, Extreme Teen 24 was one of them also. Max Hardcore was a different case

Rob left California and moved back east and now owns a hamburger place. Tom Byron joined him and he divorced Lizzie. Rob got two little kids now, so he's a dad. He is going to reopen XPW..

Many adult label do not like him. They should make a movie based on Rob's life.

Is Lizzy's FORCED ENTRY worthy of a Blu-ray Release?

Hey Dave, since Bill isn’t interested and leaning towards titles like Jude, any chance of Ghetto Blaster (1989)? Could be a fun fit for Dark Force.

I'd buy it, but I don't have a sense of how well it would sell, because almost no shot-on-video XXX movies from that period have been released on Blu-ray.
