If you guys have Snapchat, you can see snaps from Star Wars Celebration. It's under "StarWars Celebration." All the snaps are cool -- you get to see what it's like being there in little snippets.

Even so, it fits so well I don't know why I didn't think of it before. Ahsoka left the order before the shit went down and maybe she's been collecting Jedi relics ever since, seeing as she's one of the few that remained. Wasn't it rumoured that the collector in Ep VII had a link to the prequels?

[edit] And she'd have a special connection to Anakin 'memorabilia' in particular because he was her former master, and Luke's pre-Jedi lightsaber was originally his father's, after all...

That sounds about right, from what I remember.

I think Rose is still a coded script name, or an alternate name, so nothing is certain, correct?

Anyone notice that the crossguard isn't ignited....so maybe he doesn't use it all the time....only when encountering a certain JEDI MASTER does he probably use it.

Ahsoka probably assumed a different name and went underground once Order 66 happened, so the name could be what she goes by now.

The crossguard is there, it's just drastically foreshortened by the camera angle because it's directly facing us. You can see it peeking out at the bottom of the blade.

And aside from discussions and clips of Clone Wars I've seen online, my knowledge of the extended universe started with Splinter of the Mind's Eye and stopped with Han Solo at Star's End

Here's a stupid question: I thought the Empire was defeated at the end of Return Of The Jedi? It looks like it's still Rebellion vs Empire?

Nope, the death Star was destroyed, you think everyone gave up the universe wide?

They merely defeated its leaders, so it wouldn't take long for someone else within its ranks to gain power and take over. The Empire is an incredibly large faction, so simply destroying one of its space stations wouldn't defeat them in their entirety.

This is why I prefer the original ending to Jedi. The rebels are having a celebration after blowing up the death star and killing the Emperor which makes sense. The new Lucased ending shows the entire galaxy celebrating. Sorry but the thousands of other Imperial Admirals, Generals etc. wouldn't just throw up their hands. Especially since they would most likely be put on trial at the least.

The Emperor and Vader were defeated but there were still Imperial powers at play throughout the universe.
