Finally saw the new trailer. I already like this movie better than the prequels.

But in all seriousness though, it looks incredible, and I'm pumped as all hell!

If you freeze frame just as that hand is shown, you can see an alien face in the upper right corner of the screen. So whoever is handing over the hilt is an alien of some sort.

There was I thinking that Ep VII would have a tough old time beating out the competition for #1 box office haul this year, but the second teaser and the stock price jump have shown me that there's life in Star Wars yet.

I think all the big names will underwhelm to an extent.

Star Wars > Minions > Avengers

Especially since they would most likely be put on trial at the least.
Maybe this is another sign that either the originals will be released or certain alterations might be removed soon.

Star Wars > Minions > Avengers

Avengers is already tracking higher than the first film, and leading all summer competition by a wide margin. It won't be underperforming in the slightest.

Yep. This much I know IS canon:

Quote:
Tagge: That's impossible! How will the Emperor maintain control without the bureaucracy?
Tarkin: The regional governors now have direct control over their territories.
All those local rulers, with all that Imperial hardware and manpower, scattered over unknown distances. A bit of fighting left to do, I'd think.

Where did I say underperform?
I think the hype we all had for this year being the biggest ever won't be there.
And people are counting out minions too quickly.

Avengers can still be over the first film and third in the year.

True, but Palpatine was the heart of the Empire. Without him, that whole organization crumbles into chaos. I suspect that this new enemy will be someone trying to reforge the Empire, or possibly create something even worse.

I wouldn't normally quote myself, but I haven't even seen this on any of the "trailer recap" posts online. Here is a screencap:

Someone who is better at capping than me should try to get a clearer picture

I was gonna ask "Anyone know if she appears in Rebels?" because yeah, I'm not watching it. I never watched Clone Wars in the conventional sense either, as I just bought the new seasons on Blu-ray each year. Is Rebels out yet?

As an aside, I just wanna say how great it is to have a break from the arguing about SW rights (and the usual BRDC back and forth about picture quality and all that jazz) and to just be plain EXCITED for something again. It's been a long time.

yes, this tag is put here for a reason with multiple spoilers in it, so, becareful!
[Show spoiler]yes, Ahsoka appears on the season finale and it's great to see her all grown up too! Senator Orgona is also a part of the finale as well so next season is going to be kick ass. the super big news is that Vader shows up at the very, very end of the show!

It's not Tatooine.

It's not the only sandy planet in the galaxy...

The Complete Saga BD is back ordered on amazon.com for 10-14 days and bestbuy.com shows it as not being available for shipping. I guess the trailer is doing its purpose in getting people excited.

Okay, so it's not Tatooine.

I think the rest of the spoiler's on the money though, intergalactic geography aside.
