I am so starting community service tomorrow. I was a little tired when I woke up this morning so I'll get to bed earlier tonight. Will be happy to get this knocked out after 40 hours since I haven't done much else except stay out of trouble which is good. I have a buddy who had to do 120 hours of CS but he's not working right now and his probation officer wanted him to keep busy, so she made him do like 300 hours I think lol I don't think he really minds.

I see it in YouTube videos sometimes, people are talking about the latest episode of some TV show or a movie, and they will say "I ship [name] and [name]" because they want those two fictional characters to be in a relationship.

I had to do community service once, I was assigned to scrubbing pots in the kitchen of a middle school. I hated that experience.

Well my little girl is officially growing up. She went to the school nurse today complaining of "stomach pains" which the nurse found out was really cramps. She apparently was using the bathroom prior to going to the nurse, saw blood and freaked out. Long story short, they let her come home early and now I have the privilege to explain to her whats going on with her body and that it's all normal. How the hell am I supposed to explain to a preteen who's into sports that she's becoming a woman? And that school nurse of hers was useless, all she did was hand me a pamphlet and sent me on my way.

if you've never seen him live in concert, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

my favorite song of his is rocket man. and at the concert he did here, he did a 10 minute version of it. absolutely KILLED it.

and there was no opening act. just him at the piano, and his band, for almost 4 hours. well worth it.

Trying to maintain what I can't control at the moment. Family and I went out to the coast to give moral support to my mother in law during her boyfriend's memorial. Pisses me off that my brother in law didn't come out there too, but that's on him. Anyway, wife and I don't think she should be out there at the coast by herself. So we're looking into possibly selling our house and moving to where she can live with us or have her own little place. While I'm trying to be supportive, this is a pretty big decision. Because we need to find a place that is central and easy for my wife to still commute to Seattle for her job. Not to mention, sell this house for enough money to buy another one with a minimal or no mortgage, enough space for everyone while giving her the independence she likes. So we need to either get her a place of her own or one with a mother in law apartment. Between this and home schooling our son, my plate runneth over

Got to really hating the 50" 4K Samsung in our bedroom. Not enough settings, fake HDR and I really wanted a 55".

Went to Best Buy and bought a Vizio E series. Brought it home. Not enough control over settings, picture looked terrible and the remote sucked.

I should have listened to my gut rather than the sales associate who went on about the great picture quality. Also, Xled is bullshit.

Took it back.

We have a 65" LG UJ7700 in the living room. So, I bought a 55" version of that.

Not the best TV on the market, but it works with our budget and I have more options with the settings. Not only that, I love the smart TV with the remote.

Much happier with the picture, too.
