Yeah, I don't know what that was about. He was trolling pretty hard all this week. I would be still nervous if he wasn't a EE. I heard he has already signed and expected to start class next week.

I don't thnk he is a candidate for early enrollment, but I could be wrong on that. He signed financial aid papers already with FSU, UM, and UF a few weeks back which would allow him to have unlimited contact with those three schools. That is moot now as he has chosen FSU. I am also reading that Lane, a top WR from Homestead, will be flipping from UF to FSU as well.

Yeah, Lane is a beast too. I'm hoping for Travis Rudolph, I heard he is leaning toward Bama right now.

Expect Vanderbilt's James Franklin and Miami's Al Golden to top Penn State's football's wish list as the Nittany Lions search for the permanent successor to Bill O'Brien. I've heard those two names mentioned by a source close to the PSU program.

O'Brien has left PSU to become head coach of the Houston Texans, according to an ESPN report.

And a source told PennLive.com on Wednesday that PSU named veteran defensive line coach Larry Johnson interim head coach. It is unclear if the Lions plan to interview Johnson for the head coaching position.

I'm told a search committee is in place and the coaching search will not drag on.

Franklin, the Vanderbilt leader, is preparing his Commodores for a Jan. 4 bowl game against Houston.

Golden, the Miami Hurricanes' head coach, is a former PSU player and captain.

I'm hoping they hire Golden, and then we hire Franklin. Golden hasn't done a bad job for us, but I think Franklin has a higher ceiling as a head coach. I also think he is someone whose coaching style transcends very well to the next level.
