it's not even been six months that i made it to 4000 blu-rays in my collection.
and my new year's goal was actually to not buy 1000 blu's this year and cross another line in 2018. well, we are still in the first half of the year and it seems i just hit the 5000 blu-ray mark today.

by adding this box set

main reason for this craziness: some huge full collection hauls for bargain prices (150 blu-rays for €70, 280 blu-rays for €130 being the biggest and best hauls), keeping 40-50% for myself and selling the rest for cheap but with a small win that i ended up spending on even more crazy bargain 2nd hand hauls.
so i was able to add lots and lots of movies from the last 20 years to my collection (a time period that i neglected and was too small for a collection that big anyway) for a price of an average €1, so, didn't even spend so much.
i think from the last 1000 titles i added to my collection it's 800 titles from the 2000's and 2010's years for not more than €1 each.

(just a justification in case somebody stumbles over this thread accidentally *erm, hi girlfriend

I've got north of 6,500 blu rays now, and my movie room is nearly full, despite having 16 large shelves. Once my orders arrive from the ongoing Kino sale, I'll officially be out of space.

I guess it's a good problem to have.

Recently cracked the 2000 level and I can't pinpoint which title was the magic one as had a big pile of titles which i recently added to the site when i got through a backlog. With the recent EOFY sales have now hit 2036 already....

Wow just realised I have hit 2050 already!
Went back over this thread and this time in November I was at 1800, so basically in 8 months have added 250 titles an average of 1 a day....
