Sickkkkkkk Joel it’s finally coming I’m so excited about this let’s see I’ve got Sudden Death, and Hard Target I’m picking up during the next Kino sale in 4K plus pre-ordering this, and the Bloodsport 4K I currently own let’s gooooooo. Next in 4K better be Universal Soldier, Timecop, Nowhere to Run, Death Warrant and Lionheart as those titles are some of his more underrated, and unappreciated titles especially Lionheart.

Universal Soldier has 4Ks from Lionsgate. Standard and Steelbook.

But yes, to the rest of those. I would be in for any of them, although not sure that will happen anytime soon given the more recent 2K scans of Death Warrant from Scorpion and Lionheart from MVD (not the best)... Timecop may be a possibility for a 4K. I think I read somewhere Shout Factory may have acquired the rights to that one.

My Van Damme collection has swelled over the last few years. After I get Kickboxer I just need upgrades on Timecop and Street Fighter and I might be good. Wouldn't mind a new version of No Retreat No Surrender or Maximum Risk. A Cyborg 4k would be a must but the MGM disc looks like a full blown OCN scan to me.

Count me third for a Remastered Timecop. It looks like Shout now has the rights for it along with other Largo Entertainment films like Point Break and Dr. Giggles. Hope they give it a 4K release and not an exclusive Blu-Ray.

I’ll pick up the top one Death Warrant is one of Van Dammes most underrated movies I really hope we get a 4K at some point most likely a couple of years from now. It does look like MVD has plans to put more Van Damme in 4K most likely being Lionheart as they talked about Van Damme stuff in that Frank Tarzi Shelf Space video. As well as, obviously Knock Off which MVD put out on DVD along with Men of War, and knowing MVD they will probably be putting out those titles on Blu-Ray a number of months from now.

There's no way Lionheart was a new 2k scan for MVD, in fact it looks bad compared to those other Van Damme discs. Nowhere to Run looks great on the disc I have. Double Impact was the MGM master just fixed contrast levels. I think the Scorpion disc for Death Warrant looks wonderful. ditto for Cyborg on Blu ray. Timecop looks so bad which is why I sold my HD DVD after getting an OLED and rewatching it, needs a new disc. Double Team and Knock Off need new discs, I don't own Knock Off but Double Team is the same master I saw on Amazon Prime years before it came to Blu, there are digital artifacts in a few scenes in all versions.

Wasn't Double Impact from a 4K restoration? Wouldn't be surprised if MVD or Vinegar Syndrome eventually gave it a 4K release.

As for Lionheart, hopefully they can redo their Extended Cut for the 4K. Less DNR for the added scenes and line goofs. Plus that sweet Universal logo.
