To intentionally misquote Gordon Gekko: Grain, for lack of a better word, is good. (At least on real film.)

You could always buy the bonus disc on its own on Bluraysforeveryone.com

I just checked my order status for my Jurassic World t-shirt and according to the BB website and the tracking number from my local USPS its out for delivery today, a day ahead of schedule. Should have had the movie sent my house instead of in store pick up. I'm going to try to drive over to BB after work tomorrow and pick it up.

BTW, does anyone know if there is going to be any artwork on the discs? I saw a unboxong video a few pages back and it was a plain light blue color and some cool artwork underneath the discs. I'm sure the US will get plain everything as usual.

Is there a shortcoming with the new collection which I should consider? I don't have JP1 - 3 yet and it seems that the collection will include JP World 2D and 3D.

That's probably the way to go, I bought the collection with just JP1-3 and plan on putting the discs in the collection book anyway so I probably should have held off and just picked up the new one. Unless your heart is set on one of the JW exclusives like the tin or the figurines.

Watched my 2D copy of the Blu-ray yesterday. Looked great and sounded awesome!
No complaints about the picture quality, didn't notice any grain. My 6 and 7 year old nephews LOVED it

My 5 year old nephew is going to be introduced to it this week. I think his favorite film is JP3 so I'm sure this will blow his little socks off.

Just got the Special Edition here in the UK, the one with the 2 Dinosaur models. I must say they are Very well done. Far heavier than I imagined. Really Nice.

Default U.K. 3D version rip off

Here in the uk there are a lot of people complaining that you only get the 3D version and that's it. No 2d disc or special features. Luckily I found that HMV do a steel case with 3D and 2D versions included and that's the version I brought. Shame that the uk gets the poor deal.

I'll see your Spinosaurus, and assuming we're omitting the T-Rex, raise you one Mosasaur.
