The RC-R's have their own keyhole mount included, I think? The smaller C-R100s dipoles do. The macromount is supposedly right for the RC-10 (though when I looked for on online all I could find was white), otherwise any mount which can hold 15 pounds should do. The 10s have a captured nut in the middle of the back, I assume it is a standardized screw thread that most mounts will fit. Be sure you put your foam port plugs in the RC-10s if you mount them close to a wall.

As I remember it that price is the same as the RC-50s were selling for in September and that was the lowest price that I remember for the 50s. I was considering Aperion '6' towers and comparing them to the RC-50s then and figured I would be getting not only a better price, but a better value in the Energys. So I checked into some places were I could listen to the two and the Energys had a decided difference. Trouble was, the RC-70s were going for $499, and I couldn't resist getting them (I think they were still lower than the Aperion top-line towers).

As to the Pioneer. I considered getting an Elite 23; but heard so much talk about people with Energys with Denons that I bought their AVR2310CI. Part of that talk included an Energy engineer who said that their speakers seemed to go better with Denons. So far, I fine with it. But there are plenty of others I have run across with Pio's and Energys who are just as happy with them.

...

Congrats, How do you like them? Try and get the C-C50 from ebay asap for the center channel, they have them for about $94 and are probably going to sell out soon.

I see your in Anaheim, did you get them from a local dealer or online? Anymore rain coming my way?

Added to the owners list.

Pope, I think your best bet is going to be keeping your eye out on eBay. I looked for a while before I found all 3 of my LCR's in cherry. Since they're not being sold new anymore (according to Vann's), they do show up there from time to time.

Good luck in the search. You won't be disappointed when you find it.

Hi, Pope: Have you got your Pioneer Elite AVR yet? Have you tried it with your RC's?

I just got the Elite today but the RC-50 wont be here until later on in the week. I don't have wires yet and since i'm such a noob with HT i'm not sure which ones to go with. Monoprice has so many to choose from. Can you of you guys help out on which speaker wires to go with?

the c-50s have some pretty good bass for a tiny speaker, but I really like the C-100s. either will be a good choice, but I would tell you the C-100s are a little better.

Hi, Pope: It will depend on your planned setup, most importanly how long do you need to run your wires. The following is link to recommended gauge based on distance. http://www.audioholics.com/education...er-cable-gauge. Note these are VERY conservative guidelines, meant for hardcore audiophiles.

I got the 12 awg CL2 rated wires for my HT setup. The CL2 rating indicates the wire can be used for in wall installation, which is my case.

Thanks.
