Any input on No Land Beyond if it's worth it? I have enough to grab it from Xur. On the other hand, there's also MK.44 Stand Asides leg armor available. I can get one or the other.

Thanks all for the input on the NLB. Maybe it should be called No Love Beyond. I went ahead and grabbed an exotic shard for my helmet to max it out. I'm thismuch closer to L31.

Does anyone understand Bungie's ratio for Intellect, Discipline, and Strength?

I'm trying to calculate my percentages with the Apotheosis Veil helmet (Light 36, Discipline 93) that I hope to acquire in the near future. I currently have this set-up:

-Obsidian Mind: Light 36 / Intellect 53 / Strength 54
-Crota Gloves: Light 36 / Intellect 54 / Discipline 54
-Crota Chest: Light 36 / Intellect 74 / Strength 74
-Crota Boots: Light 36 / Discipline 77 / Strength 71

Grand total is 144 Light, 181 Intellect, 131 Discipline, 199 Strength, and I believe 1626 Defense. It says that I have 67% Intellect, 48% Discipline, and 73% Strength.

Thanks. I did just that after what I read on them plus input in this thread which lead to my final decision. I ended up just applying my coins toward armor upgrade (exotic shard) and bounty (urn), and also used Mote of Light for an exotic helmet engram and got one that enhances Titan Striker. My current helmet is best for Defender, so hopefully after I get the Urn gauntlets and helmet maxed out I can be more effective with both subclasses . After all's said and done I still have 10 coins left so if Xur has anything really good next weekend I should have, uhh... plenty of coin.

Agreed with My_Two_Cents. There are better exotic armor out there for a Titan. Pay attention to what you get with the armor. Ruin Wings gauntlets get you more/bigger heavy drops. Armamentarium gets you 2 grenades, etc. On the whole, I don't think exotic boots are the way to go for a Titan.

Thanks, I've seen those mentioned here and there, but I haven't looked into what's needed to acquire them (only been playing about 4 weeks). I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot with the stuff I just picked up.

I know what I have so far isn't great, but I've been taking it as they come since the rewards in this game have been few and far in between. What's annoying is after I hit L27 or so I haven't had any useful purple drops, and the only exotics I've acquired so far are from bounties (weapons) and Xur (helemets).

The purple comes from buying them from the Vanguard, typically. I wouldn't wait on drops. Keep doing the strikes and bounties and you'll have Vanguard armor in no time. Then you'll be raid ready, which means more armor.

Ok, I'm probably just saying it wrong, I meant to say purple engram (not sure if that's technically the same thing as a purple drop). But now that you mention it, I did get my purple armor from the Vanguard and purple weapons from the Vanguard Quartermaster. I'd forgotten about that. But I'd gotten a ton of purple armor for Hunter and Warlock from engrams which is what I was really referring to with useless purple drops for my Titan. Of course I'm hanging on to those as I'll eventually play those classes.
