I was at Wal-Mart the other day, and noticed they had a new DVD 4-pack of the Scream films with the eONE branding on the spine. Again, it might not mean anything, but thought it was worth pointing out.

Adding more fuel to the fire. I checked a Canadian distributor and no Scream 4K on their Oct 19 slate. Maybe once we move into September, we will get a clearer picture.

I am already assuming both Scream and From Dusk Till Dawn won’t get officially released in Canada. Thankfully there are plenty of American options to order them from.

Yeahhh Paramount doesn't have the rights to release Scream here, and eOne doesn't really do 4K titles anymore (Chaos Walking was recent, previous was Jigsaw yrs before).

Well that was a disappointment as expected. It is your typical "keep things at regular price and say it is on sale" sale that Amazon loves to do.

I have a feeling eOne’s Canadian rights to the Miramax titles are likely to expire, there were some older titles that did revert back just like the case with Focus/New Line/Lionsgate. I don’t remember the exact titles but I believe the rights won’t last much longer, knowing that Paramount has been taking over Miramax rights in many other countries.

I'd say so...

But if you have a Panasonic player, you will probably need to request a replacement disc from Arrow because the 4k disc of the TC is borked. These are most often than not, old stock. https://arrowfilms.com/news/donnie-d...ent-programme/

It's not just on Panasonic players. I have a Panasonic 9000UB, OPPO 203, and a Panasonic 820 and same problem on all 3. Received my replacement disc last week and now all is good.

I do have a panasonic, I am not sure I want to go through this process especially because I bought the 4k digital version on iTunes.

I ended up buying it anyway. It already arrived and looks undamaged even though Amazon only used a thin envelope. The process to get the replacement disc was easy. Let's see how long that takes to get here.
