I’m not sure if "most" is accurate. I’ve never seen that. The only time they use mechanical arms around here is with big commercial dumpsters, not residential cans.

Also, my garbage men are always willing to go the extra mile for me because I tip them. If I ask, they will go in my back yard and carry junk off to the truck. They don’t do that for my neighbors, because they don’t tip.

Maybe it's a regional thing. I haven't seen residential garbagemen on foot in many years. It's just one guy in a truck who drives through and picks up the cans with a mechanical arm without getting out of the cab.

See, this is where the admins/moderators make their mistake here. They go through and remove the objectionable posts instead of leaving them in the forum with a warning in said post. Because when you do that everyone is like "what'd they do?" instead of know exactly what warranted a suspension. Not to mention it feels like they don't talk to one another before handing out a suspension. Like I said in one of my posts after my "time out", "If you can't be objective in your admin/moderator/boss or whatever in life you shouldn't hold a position of power." End of rant

I had a 6 beer sampler and then an IPA over lunch with the Mrs. I definitely miss the taste of great beer, but don't miss how bloaty it made me feel afterwards. Sitting here drinking Ensign Red whiskey at the moment. Saw that Costco has some blended Scotch whiskey on my last trip there and thinking I want to give that a shot. Anyone drank this? Wondering if I drink over ice and can use a mixer like Canadian whiskey or bourbon?

Oh, and I want to know what happened too

There are a couple of moderators I think should be fired from this site. But if I even mention their names, I’m the one that gets banned.

There doesn’t seem to be any "checks and balances" here and the mods can get away with anything they want.
