Saying that this is my least favourite Eastwood movie of the past decade is not a bad thing considering his many successes.

For me the movie as a whole I would rate about 3.5/5.

i'm currently trying to figure out the release year of all (at least, i should say) 582 films i've seen. i've gotten to the R's, but it's taking quite a bit of time. so i'm gonna work on that again while the gf does whatever the hell she's doing and then we'll start it up.

anxious to see what all the hub bub is about.
not even for terms of "cruel, brutality" but just because it seems like a love it / hate it film.

you did a great job of explaining your feelings about the film without giving anything away. i wish i could do that i'll netflix this for sure, but it's not something that i'm gonna rush to the top of the queue, but still interested none the less.

watching Changeling and i cant connect. Only because of the acting is so off. They story is wild but its (Based off a true story) so im trying to cope.

hmmm, I thought Jolie was really good in that film, maybe her best performance to date-- Eastwood tends to get good efforts from his cast--

what to you consider "great acting"?

Love this movie, Dane Cook is so funny(to me at least), really the only knock I have on it is not enough of the stunningly gorgeous Lizzy Caplan.

Jolie's role was universally praised. On top of being nominated for about 6,000 awards for "best actress" so I'm a bit puzzled by this. But to each their own. Hope you enjoy it.

nope i say people just like the story and since she's the main character she gets all the praise. I like Jolie but i call what i see. Simple and Fair. Im only 1hr 1/2 in but the opening acting was pretty darn normal. Its just a good story!

Excellent review! I saw it a couple of years ago and it truly was an incredible movie. Wish there was a Region A blu of this This and City of God are my favorite movies from Brazil.

It's weird seeing people on here when they're watching a film. If I'm gonna watch something, everything's off and the film has my attention, nothing more.
