You could be right or it could be some relation to Kit. Which brings further questions, as well as who is the person receiving the light sabre, how is it that this alien got the light sabre and why is it giving it to this person?
I noticed that the person had a strange ring on the finger but its hard to tell what the ring looks like

Marketing 101 and licensing 102...for the First Order.

The Empire lost their uniform vendor contract when Palpatine died so they hired a new uniform designer. And poof. There you go. And the same thing goes for the 'First Order' ships.

"this person" is Leia. Was her face shown? no. But the voiceover made it clear.

Thanks.

Is yesterday's panel on-line? All I could find is video of the convention stands and the attendees milling around for hours ...

Maybe this is a Bothan spy?

They're not quite the same, but they could have redesigned them for a fun reference?

just because he isnt digested doesnt mean hes not dead. digestive acids would kill him, and if not he would starve or suffocate in a short time after being eaten.

His jet pack could have powered on? we saw sparks from it and Boba rolled into the pit. He could how latched onto something and reignite his pack. Or...he we impaled by a gigantic tooth?

Edited:
I linked the entire 7-hour livestream archive thinking it was included, but it wasn't. The stream does include the other panels they broadcast like Ian McDiarmid and the Collectibles panel, but not the opening Force Awakens panel. Weird...

Hmm, surely he would also be as old as Han, so maybe not the spritely bounty hunter he once was...

But seriously, I'm in no hurry to see Fett return. He was a background character that served a purpose and got his just desserts in RotJ.

I think I read that highlights were exclusive to certain vendors or sites, thanks anyway. I missed the start and BB-8's and R2's entrance. I came downstairs later and they were showing new merchandise and that was like 5 hours later ...

I really enjoyed the live-stream and the other presentations, I thought it was done really well. And the way our screens changed to accommodate the trailer, that was brilliant, unexpected to newbies like me, I thought we'd see it from the audiences perspective. Great work and it was the next best thing to actually been there!

It's BETTER than being there, trust me. You can see it better, hear it better. This whole livestream thing is the way to go. WHile it's fun to go to those things, if you want to see a prime panel you have to spend your days waiting in line for hours, and when you're walking around you're wading through insane crowds.

I went to Celebration I, II, and III (hell, I was #1 in line for opening ceremonies at I and II!) and it was great, but now I am thrilled with the opportunity to watch it on my big TV from the comfort of my couch instead.

I've also never quite understood all the hate for the prequels. I was 13 when TPM came out, and I stood in line all day for it. I don't remember being disappointed at all.

They were fun movies. I don't pay any attention to the critics or geeks who pick them apart ad nauseam.

I was 19 and I liked it, didn't love it.
Clones I hated and I still kinda dig most of Sith.

Deserves a rewatch:
