Still in my mind every time i visit here. Last November there was a nice little hit of 4ks that dropped randomly, in a few cases, bizarrely cheap. Nothing close to that, though.

The first time I can remember visiting this forum was when Arrow's Last House on the Left collector's edition was extremely cheap - don't think I've seen a deal as good as that since, though I didn't like the movie very much.

As for those Shout deals, I'd like to see The Burbs go on sale again. Ordered it back in the spring when it was sub-$20, but it was back-ordered at the time and Amazon ended up cancelling it after a couple weeks.

For the My Bloody Valentine collector's edition, I'm guessing that's the same disc as the steelbook? I just bought the latter a few weeks ago but haven't watched it yet. It was actually filmed out here in my neck of the woods and I've heard good things about it, so looking forward to checking it out at some point this month.

I don't know if Amazon.ca jumped the gun on posting Venom: Let There Be Carnage, but they already posted sale listings, giving Nov. 22/2021 as the release date. Of course, they are showing the individual formats (4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD), as well as a 2-Movie/Double Feature set (4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD).

I'm holding off until I see whether BestBuy will offer a 4K Steelbook.

Still currently cheaper than the current $76 US pre-order price on Amazon.com, but that will no doubt drop (or the Amazon.ca listing will temporarily disappear and then re-appear at a higher price?).

Apparently, it was said before they weren’t releasing it in Canada. There are different distribution rights for the franchise in Canada.

Pretty sure the series is. I watched the quadrilogy on Amazon Prime Video last month and they had the eOne logo before each film. Since they were re-added recently, I assume the logo is an indication to who still owns the rights. It is possible to have different rights to physical but not digital, but I think this is one of those cases where they still are held by eOne.

Cinema1 seems to have Halloween II 4K showing as in-stock, but Sunrise does not and Amazon.ca just shipped all of my Halloween 4Ks except #2, so there must be some supply issues with just that one title... weird!
