They used to be decent a few years back, now no one even tries. Personally I preferred Boxing Day sales, but those are garbage now too.

There already is in the states, but different distributors up here and considering the third one is already $10 average its still probably cheaper than importing

There are a few titles, including this Bill & Ted trilogy, that I will buy as soon as the border is open for Canadians to travel to US.

Annoying that movies 1 & 3 are available on 4K in the UK but nothing yet on movie 2.

Does not catch them all however.

Site has to be set to Canada and go down to $14.99

Managed to nab Shout's "Criss Cross" at $19.99 last night, now it's only available in the
$30+ range through 3rd party sellers, so if you want a title I wouldn't wait around too long.

There's at least a half dozen other titles no longer available direct from Amazon, but through
3rd party sellers (Since late last night) at much higher prices.

Cinema1 has the 4K release at $29.99, but there will be a shipping charge.

With the Home page set to Canada, a good way to see all the deals is to click on "Best Blu-ray Movie Deals, See All the Deals" at the top middle of the page. Then make sure the page is set to Amazon Deals at the top left of the page and just click on Newest Deals or Lowest Prices and you'll see the Shout deals mixed in with many other good deals. When you see something you want simply, click on it and you will be taken to the Amazon.ca page, allowing you to buy it from them or even from a third party seller if they offer a better price.

I am interested in this as a blind buy, but also worried that VVS might do things differently than Lionsgate, such as not including Dolby Vision. Does anyone know about this?

Apparently VVS uses the Lionsgate 4K discs

A guy who sells DVDs and Blu-rays through Amazon recently said that Amz is requiring all 3rd party sellers to make all their shipped items trackable, which in the US is only an extra buck or two but here in Canada it’s an extra $15. If this is true, purchasing movies through third-party sellers may get very expensive indeed, if they can even stay in business with this new requirement. Anyone hear about this?

Green Knight will be released by Elevation Pictures and not VVS. Looking at the back cover, looks like the 4K disc will have a Dolby Atmos track, but I'm not sure about the Dolby Vision.

That's right. I mixed them up. And it's also Elevation that has a record of not using Dolby Vision/Atmos sometimes, while the US version does.

Apologies if posted, but noticed Silence of the Lambs 4K Kino is up for pre-order at $27.62. Didn't see it before. No sign of Misery, however. So may have to go with either Unobstructed View or Sunrise for that one ($29.99 at both).

Me too! Amazon’s algorithms are so incredibly good at playing against us!
