What does the TDKR Trilogy (US version) have to offer? Is it the same as the UK one? It looks different. Does anyone have any pics of the insides?

It's pretty much the same as the UK one. It comes with an excerpted copy of The Art and Making of the Dark Knight trilogy

It would be nice if the boxset had a new transfer for batman begins, seeing as how the current transfer is basically the hd dvd port.

In other words, an excerpted photobook of the original

I want both trilogy sets, BB Steelbook, Target Digibook, The Cowl Edition, and probably whatever this BB exclusive trilogy is. Man my wallet is going to hurt.

I'll be getting the Dane digi and the BB Steel. I don't collect much of either, but I have a few digi's and the Bane one is just b*tchin and I have the other Nolan Batman movies in steel.

Does anyone know if Target charges when the item is ordered or when it is shipped? I'd much rather pay for the in December than right now...

Ultimate Trilogy is worrying me... If it is new transfers I'd probably get it. I doubt we'd get an extended edition of the first 2 films, but people talking about the Bane origin makes me wonder if Rises may get a possible extension. If it is simply a nicer packaging I am definitely not interested.

I think I'll just go with the Steelbook, as long as it looks good next to the first two. As of right now I have the deluxe set of the first movie, the standard set (with slip) of the second movie, and Steelbooks of both films. Maybe I will need a second copy of this one just to keep that trend going...

You know what would be awesome?

A Dark Knight Rises Cowl edition where the discs are housed in a digibook whose covers are made of metal with the front cover being lenticular, alternating between Batman and Bane .

Man, some of you guys are enthusiastic. Double dipping is one thing, even triple dipping. But I'm seeing some talk of quintuple dipping. That's a little too much for me.

The poster who gave this information has contacts within the industry. He supplied information about what the storyline was for the Dark Knight Rises all the way up to the release of the film. He's a very, very trusted source of info there.

So, it looks like more bonus features/documentaries and some other stuff that may or may not show up in the set.

And here's his info on the Best Buy exclusive documentary, the Dark Knight Reborn (http://forums.superherohype.com/show...&postcount=802).

It's already up for pre-order in the US. Amazon UK still has the 'sign up to be notified when this item becomes available' status.

The Dark Knight Trilogy set will be mine. I really like the simplicity of the look of the artwork with Batman's mask on the cover too.

I'd say the UK image isn't finalized yet. The front looks a little too plain (no movie titles, etc..), and there aren't any ratings logos or anything either. It'll probably turn out just like the US one. The book too will probably be the same

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but BB finally has a pic of their Steelbook up and it's similar to the ones in other regions:
