i need to do that. except i need ballistic lenses so i don't have to wear a second pair over my rx glasses when i'm at the range.

i found some online that had scratch-resistance, fog-free, transition, ballistic lenses. with the frames (nothing too special), they were over $500. i have trouble spending what i have to spend on a normal pair. and over $500 is just too much for me. so if i can get a pair with just ballistic rx lenses, for a good price, i'll get those instead. and i'll just keep my overlay sunglasses.

I wanted the LASEK but they said my corneas are too thin. Oh well, hopefully my next pair of glasses will last longer since I'm getting some goggles just for running. Shower time!

yeah i'd love to get it, but that cost....whew!

maybe if i sold all my movies....MAYBE. hell even then i couldn't afford one eye; let alone both.

Downside - my corneas are too thin for LASEK. Upside, I don't have to spend thousands of dollars I can't afford.

Still don't think I'll go to that goodbye lunch tomorrow, an unexpected person would have to talk me into it between now and noon.

Kind of frustrated on how today played out. Wife's boss got frustrated with me when he was taking the last impression of the bite for my new crown and wasn't the most professional. I can give him a pass for me not understanding what he ask of me or getting pissy, but I can't give him a pass when I apologized several times and he didn't acknowledge it. Apparently the Mrs laid into him pretty good during their staff meeting and is going in on Monday guns blazing. I'm waiting until my next visit to see what he says before I say anything.

So many people here up in a tizzy because it's a co-worker's last day and I couldn't care less. Another one's last day is next Friday so 2 of the 4 co-workers I like the least will be gone by the time I return from my PTO.

Almost time to clock in for my 7 hour Friday, can't wait to see Black Panther tonight!

Gotta wonder, so what will all your co-workers think of you if you're fired or quit? You don't sound like a very social, overly friendly type co-worker.

When I’ve gone to a comic book movie on opening week, there’s usually one guy who brought a comic book to read before it starts. I wonder if it’s the same guy each time.

I doubt most of the co-workers in this location will care when I leave, which doesn't bother me in the least. Don't give much thought to people who wouldn't give much thought to me. Not worth the stress.

That must stink spending 8+ hours a day 5 days a week at a place where you don't care about the people and they don't care about you. Must be horribly depressing.

I value the friendships I've made at the places I've worked over the years. Some I've stayed in contact with many years later.

If I had to sit and stare at a computer/files/walls all day and not interact with anyone, I'd hate life.
