Seems like they love to give the award to the winning QB regardless. Should have been Whitfield. He got screwed on that award. He saved Winston's ass.

Not just for that one return. Whitfield had 172 return yards on 4 returns. Easily MVP IMO.

Winston played nervous and jumpy for three quarters. I don't think he was used to that type of constant pressure, the Auburn defensive line were monsters. No other team had really done that all year to them. FSU basically had to dump their all-star TE O'Leary out of the game, he couldn't block anyone.

Auburn played very conservatively, I don't think they anticipated being up by so much. They would be an unstoppable team if their QB could hit a few more pro-style throws.
