Default Mad Max 2 Road Warrior Custom Blu-ray Cover by Nissen

The first of three:

Mad Max 2, aka The Road Warrior.
This custom Blu-ray cover follows the old Warner Bros. template as closely as I could get it.

These will be available to share once the set is finalised.

I'm considering making it available if there's interest, depending on how the uploading process at Customaniacs works.

EDIT: Strike that, I'm leaning toward EuphoricFX.
Too bad

I was just about to send you an PM to know if you could send me an HD link for me to upload your beautiful cover!
And I don't want to go through other forums, just directly with the artist.

Fantastic work, once again. Can't wait to see how Thunderdome turns out.

Even though I already have Mad Max and Road Warrior, I ordered the Trilogy set anyway. Instead of getting a cover for Thunderdome and keeping separate cases, I wound up just putting the tin on the shelf because the other cover art is so uninspired. Now I will be ditching the tin.

BTW, the discs in the Trilogy tin are definitely candidates for custom labels. Simple silkscreen black with text. Bor-ring.

I'm working on two custom covers as we speak! (And that's one of them.)

...Just waiting for the back cover to be posted online so I can get all the tech specs correct.

DrrnHarr hit one of the nails on the head: the snobbish approval process in addition to what struck me as pretty draconian cover requirements. I personally found their itinerary of data included on a cover to be creatively constrictive.

Customaniacs appears to require submitted covers to include a sysopsis, disc specs, legal info, etc..., and as someone with a desire to emulate vintage VHS packaging and a strong creative streak, I don't always plan to include all that stuff. I don't think Customaniacs would consider my EtD and Dune covers up to their snuff, let alone my idea of a blank VHS for The Ring in a Criterion case (inspired by CC's own Videodrome). I have a better feeling of creative freedom at EurphoricFX.

(The approval process at CM also strikes me as a bit ironic, since some of the artistic output over there is almost terminally bland. EuphoricFX seems like a more artistically inventive community.)

Has anyone came across any custom covers for Beyond the Black Rainbow? My hunt has turned up minimal results.

Custom Cover/Slip for the movie "The Informers"
I still might add movie credits, etc. on the back and maybe the title on the front.
May end up turning this into a slipcover. I just really disliked the original cover. This is also my first custom and I don't really have proper photo editing software...please be kind

Just a heads up, this cover has nudity and might be considered NSWF
I HAVE WARNED THEE

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The good news though is that ince you have gone through the approval process at customaniacs there is very little oversight.

I have been posting on Customaniacs for almost two years and the only moderator comment I have seen in the last six months was how much Kampar liked my "Excalibur" custom cover.

But, I do personally prefer EuphoricFX if I had to choose between the two.

Fantastic work Nissen. I have been collecting those same elements together as well to try and mimic the old VHS template for a series I wanted to work. It's not as easy to find them as I had supposed though I did find a site that has high resolution images of the old VHS covers.
