Rumor has it Pruitt left FSU because he was banging other chicks and his fiancée wanted him to leave if he wanted to keep her. Apparently it's not his first time having to leave a job because he was banging chicks he should not have been. He and the head coach at the time at Hoover High in Alabama both were told to leave. Only rumor, anyone else hear this?

Yeah, thats the word right now. FSU matched UGA, dude was already out the door when he called Jimbo to let him know he was leaving. He didn't even tell the players he was leaving, it caught everyone off guard at FSU. Word is that he gave Jimbo his word that he would atleast be at FSU for two years, before looking anywhere else. Dude is a POS, he's already trying to flip our recruits to UGA after just last week recruiting them to FSU.

Yeah, that's makes Pruitt look like a bigger POS, that Jimbo gave him a chance and he bit him in the ass. He will be one and done at UGA if Kirby Smart gets a head job next year.

Stanford DC Derek Mason is the overwhelming favorite at Vandy and could be named today

This would be a good hire for Vandy. Mason knows how to recruit and coach at a school with high academic standards. It will definitely be a challenge keeping Vandy at a winning level though.

The radio guy in that story is an FSU grad fan who made no secret about his disdain for Pruitt for leaving, regardless of reason. It may or may not be true, but until facts are known, it sounds like the radio guy is reporting rumor as fact.

If Alabama starts going 10-2 on a good year with Kiffin as their lead, while offensively challenged, is that going to be a sign that Kiffin is doing a good job?

USC is supposed to be Alabama-level. There is relatively little competition on the west coast for recruiting that USC should be in or near a national championship game every year.

10-2 is a failure at USC, even if you think that's a "dumb statement".

It's almost sad that people are starting to accept USC at the level they have been at.

But hey, why bother even trying to understand what I was saying, just flippantly pass it off as dumb because it challenges your assumptions.

I agree with this. USC and Bama expect championships. 10-2 is a disappointment for them. 10-2 for my Tigers is a great year. Big difference.

Except for the little known fact that USC had lost 30 scholarships over 3 years, thanks to Paul Dee (may he rot in hell), Missy Conboy, and Josephine Potuto. Recruiting 15 players per cycle is not nearly the same as recruiting 25. So, during these ridiculous sanctions, 10-2 is outstanding IMO.

By way of comparison, what was Bama's record when it lost 21 scholarships over 3 years? 4-9? 6-6? Whatever it was, it wasn't very good.

I like Dabo but I like Chad's offense. I wonder if they paid the wrong coach like when Bowden was hired with Rich Rods offense. He says Chad's O will stay with or without him and Jeff Scott is being taught by Chad much like Chad was taught by Gus. Time will tell I guess.
