Its amazing that people are posting covers for movies that arent even out yet and I cant seem to find a cover for my copy of Vertical Limit????

The thing is, it's hard to do a custom cover for a specific movie when there isn't enough images to use. Sometimes you might find a couple images that you could piece together and design everything else but when there is no source material to use at all, it makes designing the cover very hard to do. I have attempted to do your Vertical Limit cover but like I said, there was nothing I could use to atleast start it. I will try again and hopefully will have success.

I just saw this thread and I'm really impressed with what you guys can do.

I have a couple requests, hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction, I bought a couple blu-rays from amazon.co.jp and the japanese writing on them just makes them seem out of place in my collection, so if someone wouldn't mind helping me out with "Halloween" [(2007) theater rated R version] and "The Crow" I would appreciate it greatly.

Yeah that's really amazing! Before you bust out your whip there's a couple of things you should know.

#1. This isn't a scan thread.
#2. We're custom cover artists that do our own work, and don't take kindly to dudes with your attitude.

Guys I really need some tips (constructive criticism) okay I’m having trouble with the Pictures in the red bar on the back and the spine. other than that its a work in progress and I would like some tips on it.

I see lots of flaws now that it is BIG! lmao I will re-upload when I resize

I would first put all the legal info, logos, credits, etc. on the cover then work on the art (when doing the back cover). I find it easier and less stressful.

kor ray when i did my scrubs custom i just did my own just google search blu ray symbol and then free transform it in photoshop to whatever size and then u can paint bucket it to whatever color you feel you need then touch it up accordingly it takes 10 mins but its easy enough

The front was not done by me, it is from a custom DVD cover that I found, artist Unknown.

Updated the covers, with a better specification box.

That's an awesome Red Dragon but the font on the side could do with a redo and I'd like to see a Silence cover that's similar to that art.

Some covers are really hard to do, the lack of material makes for a difficult cover without just reusing the poster...

I hope you appreciate the cover I am about to post Logic 7, it was hard to do. With lacking rosources, I had to come up with something completely different and with very little movie images.

I also hope you can understand what work it takes artists to do their covers, and that newer movies have so many more resources than older ones do. Plus, us cover creators lover making new covers in anticipation of future releases!

bmpford & Illest Villain Thank you both for even trying to make a custom cover. I would have been happy with a scan.
aggienader08 I certainly wasnt cracking any whips. Plenty of people have asked for scans on here. I would never ask someone to go to all the work, im sure it takes, to make a custom cover just for me. I asked for a scan or if somebody had already done one if they could point me to it. I asked it nicely several times and my last comment may have shown a little fustration at not being able to find it. I even tried to rent the disc at my local BB to scan it but they didnt have it. As i've said above I would never expect anyone to do that but I figured someone could put their cover in their printer/scanner and make a scanned copy of it. I would do that for anyone on here because I dont have the talent that you artists have. You and many other people on here have talent but you shouldnt hold that over those of us who dont by acting superior to the rest of us.

I'm looking to start downloading some custom covers. What is the biggest and best site to go to? I'm already a member of DVD Covers Fuzion and R1DB. Are there any bigger ones than those?
