Yeah, I thought of that when I first saw the image a few days back. If they do stick with that design then they'll probably add the movie titles to it too

I would have preferred they go with the DVD Trilogy's cover art though which is much much better in my opinion

You can now place the preorder of the Target Digibook, (I couldn't get my order to go through yesterday), and there doesn't seem to be any way to select the Batman or Bane cover, so it's probably luck of the draw if there is indeed two different covers.

It's packaged with the Best Buy exclusive documentary on the series.

It's just one book with both covers I think

Will probably get the basic Blu, and wait to see what the ultimate Trilogy has to offer.

The poster who gave this information has contacts within the industry. He supplied information about what the storyline was for the Dark Knight Rises all the way up to the release of the film. He's a very, very trusted source of info there.

So, it looks like more bonus features/documentaries and some other stuff that may or may not show up in the set.

And here's his info on the Best Buy exclusive documentary, the Dark Knight Reborn (http://forums.superherohype.com/show...&postcount=802).
The additional things that he spoke of for the Ultimate Collection have me excited, too bad I probably won't be able to afford it.

Yeah that was the cover originally posted on AmazonUK for the trilogy. So now that is being used, solely, for the dvd release? Oh brother! WB, you've got to me kidding me! That artwork, totally, trumps that of the blu-ray!
WB, I can't be shaking my head any more ruefully!

Yeah it's so much better. I'm hoping the Blu-ray is just temporary and they use the DVD art for all of them (including the US one).

Me too! Heck, as a last resort, I might just buy the dvd version, and give the dvd's away! That's too good of a case NOT to have!

Ultimate Collector Edition should be this, but larger, with discs popping up out of the light tube, and fully functional like the toy (Mattel Movie Masters build-a-bat-signal):

Completely agree. It's not even comparable. Why on earth would they give the blu-ray customers a boring logo and the DVD customers awesome artwork? They need to stick with the DVD art. I would totally buy that pack if the Blu-ray looked like that.

Yeah I'm keeping both my trilogy order for the US and UK, just in case something changes between now and December, but I'm holding out much hope).
If things remain the same, UK will definitely get cancelled and I'll see where the US trilogy is, pricewise, at that time. I might only order the dvd trilogy and place all my existing 3 movie BDs in it?
Does the trilogy have anything the 3 existing movies don't?

There is one thing I really really hope they do with the blu-ray. Give Bane his original voice for the opening sequence. The ADR they did there because of people complaining was not good. The original audio of Bane in the plane was so much more creepy and intimidating. The only part of the original sound in his dialogue was him saying "Crashing this plane." Bring back the rest Nolan.

Man I kind of wish I had pre ordered that cowl edition when it was 27.99. Well its still early for its release, maybe it will go back down. I think ill settle for that one. Then again part of me wants to have all three on the same shelf next to each other lol. The cowl doesnt come with a case or anything. Buying more then one is out of the question ha atleast I have a while to make up my mind.

I told myself I would buy all of the US editions to collect. There may be too many to do it! The Target digibook is sick. Is the cowl edition really limited to 30,000? I see no mention of that on Amazon.
