No brainer on predicting that one. Abrams used 7.1 on Super 8 and Atmos for Into Darkness, both mixed at Skywalker...which was the first studio with Atmos capability (Brave).

I think we knew all along The Force Awakens will be in Dolby Atmos. Skywalker Sound would not settle for less for such a huge film. In fact, they're one of the leading pioneers of the format since its debut with Pixar's Brave in 2012.

Hopefully both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision makes it to Blu-ray.

So one question, is the YouTube trailer mastered in Dolby Vision too?

There's software available for computers that allows you to download clips directly from YouTube and other web sites.

Not that I would do such a thing.

Hmm....All these trailers seem to be very small. The BvS trailer I downloaded was 900MB (50mbps), all these are around 100MB. Surely there is compression loss and a higher quality available somewhere...right?

The one thing that concens me is Carrie Fishers voice and the way she sounds. She sounds nothing like she used to unlike Ford and Hamill.

Easy Chewie....

All Anakin did was destroy the Emperor that's all, and at that time he was the only Sith in the public's eye there could have been others that stayed out of view.

This ^^. He did bring balance to the force.

Then its quiet for awhile, and then "awakens" and now we have all these new Force Users running around in the new movie.
