You have to be careful with Paramount 4K releases the most. They are only studio that is never consistent with what 4K they include a BD with.

Sometimes they will include the BD in Steelbooks, sometimes they won't. Their regular releases are the same way.

That's not necessarily true. I had a 4k player at one time with my 1080p projector. You can have a 4k TV with a BD player but just won't play the UHD. AVR it doesn't matter.

Sometimes they will include the BD in Steelbooks, sometimes they won't. Their regular releases are the same way.

My 2 mistakes have been Arrow products. I thought a Blu-ray would be included but it was not.

If the film House of Gucci interests anyone, Amazon.ca already has a listing, albeit no release date provided yet. They indicated a DVD price but Blu-ray is currently blank. Pre-order prices are rarely accurate until a month or two before release.

Amazon Canada have pretty much all of the newest Shaw brothers movies by 88 films (chinese boxer, Disciple of Shaolin, Monkey kung fu, Shaolin Matins) but for some unknown reason they still haven't gotten a listing for the two titles being released in February (The flag of iron and Legendary weapons of china), even though they have listings for the next two after these. They are also both available on .com so it's really frustrating. I wonder why?

Thanks for the heads up on Shaolin Mantis, the March 88 films releases aren't showing up in the Coming Soon section of amazon.ca for me. But now knowing this I've pre-ordered them both. The prices are higher than what I'd like to pay, but I hope both will lower eventually and if not, those are the only two releases in March I'll be picking up anyways.

I think if we don't see those two Feb pre-orders pop up in January we can probably say MVD is experiencing a distribution rights issue for those two within Canada. Our market is too tiny for them to put out the expenditure to deal with it.

Heads up, they are both 19.99 on amazon com right now, it comes to 80$ for both, which isn't that bad. Hopefully they do show up on amazon canada eventually.
