I'm glad you are liking the cover...its going through the WIP process at Euphoricfx.org.
In your comment regarding the font. I'm assuming you are referring to the TT? I agonized over the TT since every one I attempted didn't seem to work. I'm open to suggestions. It's the reason the TT was added so late in the project. The synoposis and credits block are in a comic book font called Digital Strip. Since comic books feature so heavily in the movie it seemed like a natural choice. |

![]() Of course, it's not that good if you've never seen the movie, but I really dig it anyway. |

Not custom covers, but custom cases. These are PS3 cases I got from a store, the dimensions are a bit different, but it works for me. A bit of spray paint on the clear cases, and this is the result.
![]() I thought T2 might look good with a gray color..... ![]() |

Hey guys, I've been a member here for a little over a year, but never been down the custom cover art road. So, naturally I have a few questions. For one, what is the name of the proper paper to buy that is most commonly used for blu-ray cover inserts? Two, will any old printer due as long as you've got the color to spare? And three, I don't know if high quality inserts for the movies I want have been made or not yet, but I'm really trying to acquire some nice artwork for the following films:
"John Dies at the End" with the fantastic original poster art I believe, the one that contains mostly shades of yellows and oranges, along with an assortment of the character's in the film. Also, include the blu-ray specifications with logos if possible, I don't want to seem picky here or demanding. & "Spring Breakers", for this one I'm not going to be picky or too specific either, whatever looks really cool and has the blu-ray details and logos on the back side. I've seen some work that's been done in here and I've been really impressed with the work that's being done. If either of these titles have already been done before, please if anyone would, point me in the right direction. If not, what would it take to get one done in a real first class fashion, I know someone of you guys or guys some of you know are totally capable of first class work. Thanks for any help in advance, all your work is completely appreciated. |

I personally do not do commissioned work because I do covers for fun and I have to have a love of the movie in the first place to get enthused about working a cover. The best custom artist on here IMHO who does do commissioned work is Nissen, but I have no idea what he charges for his hard work. |

![]() [Show spoiler] That's pretty cool, I actually like the idea of coloring the covered for each specific film. For instance, I think that Daredevil and Elektra would look cool with a red painted case and Hulk 2003 would look good with a green. I may have to try this for myself... |

Essentially, the poster being used is so tall that to make the TT fit on the page it would obscure vast portions of the poster. Sizing it down so you can see the poster art and the TT is too small and looks ridiculous. |

WhysoCereal, if you do try it, remember to put pieces of paper between the clear plastic and the case itself,at the hub and the booklet holders as the paint will go through and get on the clear plastic. I learned the hard way .....

Is there anyone on here that has done custom slipcovers/boxes for series that may not have a boxset release? I'm kind of interested in getting one done for the Rambo series discs. Nothing super fancy of high quality, just a cardboard case to hold them all with the series name on it.

I'm actually going to open this up to all creators, who have the time and can do the first class quality job I'm looking for. Ideally, I'm simply looking for someone to do a custom job for "Spring Breakers." I don't have a specific vision, and I wouldn't tell an artist how to do their job anyway, but all I'm asking for is something very professional looking and that the back of the insert include all the logos and credits, UPC is optional, especially if the design trumps it and the UPC would only be taking valued space away from whatever image may be used on the back. And also don't make mention of it including a DVD or digital copy, as if it were simply a blu-ray disc only release. I am also asking one other thing. If possible, could said artist print their work for myself on the proper paper used for inserts and if they have a basic "Elite" blu-ray case, throw that in. I only ask because, one I don't have a printer, nor the knowledge to possibly print it on the right quality of paper. The "Elite" single disc blu-ray case is optional I could always buy some, but I don't think they just sell single cases, I might have to buy a ten pack or something but whatever. Anyone interested PM me. I've said before, I will treat this as it should be treated a job, a commission. That in mind, a price will be negotiated. |
