Damn, will be trying tonight. I was going to start a Hunter just so I didn't have to rely on others for the first section. Thanks.

2nd jump option "increased height" is the best....I think. Also, it seems like if you do a little jump on the rock before going for it you have a better chance. Kyle seems to be pretty good at it.....

Yes, have the 'Increased Height' for your jump and make sure you are as close to the edge of the rock as you can get. Once your Weight of Darkness is gone jump up and follow the ledge to the lamp where a Knight is. Kill the Knight, go up the hill and stay to the left and follow another ledge and it will take you right to the platform. I can make it there solo but like I said before that Orge will take you down very quickly and I haven't been able to kill him myself.

Here's a video I made from when the lamp explosion worked yet just to give you a better idea of the path to take.

Brutal weekend of Hard Crota

Took lot of new guys to hard and considering all things most runs went well. Just damn glitches make this run harder than it has to be. Glad to have gotten the run done though after numerous attempts though. Im about to retire from Crota

I finally leveled up my Word of Crota and its a nice trash killers so might just level up the others for the alt characters.

Oh my bad!! LOL ya that's new. This game manages to screw you somehow delaying the kill. If I had a nickel for everytime the sword went away before the final sword stage.

are you killing the ogre on hard? on my hunter I just stayed on the ground and ran from side to side, going invisible and avoiding the horde. no violence.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into that some more. I know our grimoire scores are only about 125 apart from each other.

Ive always just used increased control and always look pretty much straight up when jumping from the rock at 2nd lamp. Warlock is a pain the butt.

I shot the Ogre on Hard 6 times with Ice Breaker and it didnt do anything really. So I just popped the bubble as soon as he started shooting at me and it lasted until the bridge was formed. He seems to always go behind the rocks if you shoot him fast enough so there is a pause in the action. After he clears the rocks and starts shooting again is when I dropped the bubble. I imagine you would have to kill him with a Warlock or Hunter.

He never even saw me on hunter since I never got on the rock and spent 90% of the time invisible.
