Amazing news! I know this film gets a fair amount of hate but, man I freaking love it. So weird but still mesmerizing IMO. I concur that it's the last film I'd expect to see get the 4K treatment and it almost feels like an April Fool's joke but I'm stoked it's getting upgraded.

All in for Scream. I've got nothing but love for it. Great atmosphere which should be even thicker in 4K.

Looking at getting a copy (sooner rather than later) of The Dead Pit, Forced Entry (aka The Last Victim (unless a better Blu-ray release happens), Mirror Mirror and Mirror Mirror 2: Raven Dance, and eventually (when it's been released) The Weekend Murders.

Is there a longer version of The Weekend Murders?

Could also be one of the films Bill owns the rights to in perpetuity, and has decent film elements for a UHD scan. I'll have to give it a rewatch, I wasn't overly impressed with it when i first watched it.

Wonder what other films Bill owns outright?

Scream in 4K is insane, very cool release from Dark Force and I hope it sells well for them.

That being said, even though I like the movie, not sure I will be picking this up as I think the blu-ray is just fine...

The only thing I can think of right now is...

Scream is just flat out awful. Dead Pit has some entertainment value, but frankly the blus were not very good examples of the format. What examples of the UHD format will these be....
