I agree with crashkelly. It is risky for anyone to start a group buy for this or any of the Disney titles.
October 13 will set the tone for the next three months.

Now, if someone wants to get added to a request list, that's another story.

Id like my name added to a request list if possible, anyone running such a list?. I just dont want this to be another steelbook i have to pay over the odds for on ebay because i will if i have too, infact i will trade my own grandma for a TF2 Steely

With all these rumors that Wal-Mart USA is getting the exclusive "IMAX shift-ratio" version of the movie, does anyone know what version FutureShop will be having?

I would prefer NOT to have to buy two different versions.

I assume FS will be getting the regular edition. If Wal Mart USA has the rights, they probably will have the rights in Canada too.

From some experiences, I think it is a matter of when rather than if you will receive that info.

I am hoping not though. I have no interest in cleaning out stores, but to be able to help a few would be good

In all honesty, I'm not going to go out of my way for most of these... I might go into work late the days Transformers and UP come out (depending on limits), but there's just too much stuff coming out to do that every week for 12 weeks.

And I'm certainly not losing my job over steelbooks.

Well, you could always go to Futureshop at lunchtime and after work! Don't forget the weekends too!

I would, but there are no Futureshops even close to downtown where I work.

And odds are there won't be any left by the weekend... unless there are hard limits in place.

But then I do know one of the customer service girls... maybe she'll let me buy one or two extras.

If you have acces to a phone (I'm sure you do) you can call Future Shop and reserve 1 or 2 copies. I did it before, they will keep it under the counter with your name on it. As long as you get there before 9PM it will be yours.
