That's not a new season 3 promo. The tag line and poster have been around since season 1 or 2. I think the last poster with the dog and girl was the last one we are going to get.

I also mentioned previously that I saw Don Swayze, Patrick's younger brother in the preview I saw him pushing up on Sookie and I wondered if he was only in one scene. I just read Don will play the part of “Gus” in Episode 3 “It Hurst Me Too“. So I am very excited by this prospect, but can anybody tell me if Gus is a new character or someone from the books? He is a werewolf biker and part of someone named Coot's gang, and that is just awesome..........

New Promo it's kind of amusing, didn't really see much new footage. I'm still really bummed that the Werewolves took the Twilight route and they are simply wolves. Which makes them Shifters exactly like Sam not werewolves. Though I'm sure with this being True Blood they will come up with a much more creative spin on things to make it less crappy and more bad ass. We will know for sure in two more weeks.

I think the werewolves could have a wolf form and a human/wolf forum and they are just saving it for the show. Or that's what I really hope as I have been waiting for werewolves since season 1 and am disappointed they are just wolves.

Yeah i am very disappointed to. The Twilight werewolves are even better then these because they are as big as horses. Here in true Blood they are just regular wolves. That really got to be the lamest thing

That's exactly what I'm hoping for, that they just don't want to show the werewolf form in the promos but they will be there in the show. I couldn't see TB taking the Twilight approach, Alan Ball is just much more creative than that.

Based on all the promos so far they only show a pack of wolves and one angry lookin lone wolf. We don't know as of yet if they are saving it for the show, or if they really are just wolves. Either way, I love wolves so I'm okay with it, though I will not lie and say I'm not bummed a little.

It definitely had it's ups and downs, there where some wrong turns last season in the first half but I thought it really came together nicely in the last few episodes. I am so pumped for this, 12 more days!

I'm glad they're going the route of using actual wolves for the Weres. I think it fits with the world of TB quite well. At least better than the typical hulking man/wolf beasts that are in so many other genre shows and movies.

But how can they say a regular wolf is a werewolf on the show. Nobody says when you see a wolf its a werewolf. But on true blood they do

Not sure how using a fake werewolf fit's with the TB world. The reason all the other genre's use man/wolf is because that's what a werewolf is part wolf part human. In True Blood so far it's just a wolf and nothing more so it's not even a werewolf really.

Yeah a human that becomes a wolf is just a shifter, and Sam has made a point to state before that werewolves are "filthy creatures" and "nothing like a shifter" so I'm interested to see if something changes.
