OH lol my bad, I was going by the info on this website. No slipcover but it has a piece of cardboard glued to the front. Don't recall the price unfortunately.

There is a super tiny copy of #1 inside of the case though.

The cardboard on the front has Buffy raised from the background.
Fits nicely inside of the slipcover.

It was $26.99 at my Target, so I passed and placed an order at Amazon upon getting home instead. My Best Buy didn't have it in stock at all.

Is the cardboard & plastic glued to the case as well? Didn't mind to look that close. It was a bit annoying when they did that with Dollhouse Season 1. :/ Nice that the cardboard doesn't include the usual Blu-ray banner atop it though..

Picked mine up today at Movie Stop for a little over $22.I'll probably start watching it after I finish The Last Exorcism later tonight.

Yeah, it is glued and it's a pain in the @ss. The front of the case looks messed up now after I peeled it off. The same thing happened with Dollhouse: Season 1 and Prison Break: The Final Break. Either go with a slipcover, Fox, or just release them in a regular case already!

As for the Blu-ray itself, I only had time to sample a few minutes last night, but it's basically what it says. A motion comic for Season 8(part of it anyway). The voice acting is alright, but the actors don't really sound like their live action counterparts. Hardly any extras, but at least the featurette is in HD. Avoid it until you've watched or read the comics though as they just drop spoilers left and right.

The last issue of season eight, number forty, is to be released later this month I believe, so theres no way they could've had all forty on this bluray. I've seen previews of the motion comic and they seem alright, I guess I just prefer reading the actual comics.

They could have just waited till after issue 40 was released. It's not like they where in a rush to get it out.

I bought my copy today. Very happy with this purchase. Can't wait to watch it this weekend. Also, the cardboard piece is embossed. I'm surprised Fox did that. And yes, her boobs are embossed aswell.
