It's a moot point anyway as I will never watch Transformers ever again.

Well that may be all well and good for you, but personal views aside I think this is pretty bad QC for a major studio. The same issue plagues Creep too.

Hey Tech-UK & HD Goofnut
The US versions of Queen Rock Montreal & Live Aid & Yes: Live at Montreux 2003 are both DTS-HD High Resolution 5.1 lossy. These are the only two Blu-rays that I own without lossless audio. Last edited by frogmort; 02-25-2011 at 06:30 PM. |

I know that DTS-HD HR tracks are maybe technically lossy, but I mean...you're not going to be able to tell me they sound any different from DTS-HD MA tracks. The Queen track has a higher bitrate than a lot of lossless tracks for instance and sounds amazing. Seems odd to include these tracks.

The two I listed are lossy. That doesn't mean they don't sound good, I really enjoy both of them quite a lot. That's the reason I have them in my collection, but technically, they are lossy. ![]() edit: Maybe someone could create a third category list for High Resolution Audio? I didn't vote in the poll because my answer is yes and no. If it is a favorite movie like Goodfellas I will buy it, if it is something like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation I can wait for possible release with lossless audio or when it is $5.
Can get a list of lossy BDs here: http://www.blu-raystats.com/Stats/Stats.php Last edited by Travis; 04-16-2011 at 02:12 AM. |

I see what you mean, but I didn't post those rates Tech did. You'll have to contact him if you want those numbers updated. My list is on page 5 on this thread.
