Watched Back to the Future: Part III and I can honestly say that all three films look about the same in terms of PQ and there is mild DNR present throughout all of them. I'll be writing my review tomorrow.

I used to buy Blu-rays from them but stopped buying movies from them when they actually downgraded the Blu-ray section and put up more DVD's instead. ![]() |

Inception, it was perfect! the only bad side (it's stupid I know) but when I watched seconds from the dvd for comparison I didn't spot the difference.. lol I was hoping for something drastic Ordered: The Social Network Fight Club Wanted How to Train Your Dragon Shaun of the Dead Boogie Nights |

Over the weekend I watched two of my recent Criterion acquisitions...
8 1/2 and Videodrome They're so different from each other, but both totally engrossing in their own way. Fellini's 8 1/2 looked scrumptuous and endlessly fascinating with so much to offer. I watched Videodrome late at night (somehow I always wind up watching Cronenberg's films late at night, the creepiest time to watch them) both cringing and marveling at the early-80s special effects make up and set pieces. Interestingly, the two films do have one thing in common: their respective stories each revolve around one troubled character and in the viewer's (and the character's) eye, the line between what in the story is "real" and what is a fantasy in the protagonist's head is often very blurry indeed. |
