Mine is on order with Sainsbury's and I've never used them before but I think some people don't mind paying a couple/a few quid extra to go with someone they've used regularly and trust.

Sainsbury's have been a bit slow for me before. If anyone is a new customer to Sainsbury's see if the code SETENJ12 works for 10% off when you get to checkout.

That's more to the fact that the distribution rights are all over the place when it comes to Lynch movies, Universal in the UK for those titles but all over the shop in other countries.

There might be some issues with further Blu-ray releases of Universal horror in the UK, first of all will these even sell well enough? I doubt it, most of the sequels didn't even make it to DVD here (Invisible Agent/Woman/Returns/Mummy's Hand/Tomb/Curse etc) or the non-creature features (Night Monster/Man Made Monster etc), and do they still own the rights? The Black Cat and The Raven are Second Sight, Tower of London is Optimum and Revenge of the Creature is Final Cut Entertainment as far as I know. Island of Lost Souls in now MoC.

I kinda actually hope that the UK gets the discs in a digistak or big Amray case. What I've seen of the US Kubrick boxset (which seems to have similar packaging to this) is that the discs are a pain to get out and get scratched pretty quickly.

Same goes for the new Hitchcock boxset.

I much prefer the American Cover Art but the UK cover does say artwork to be confirmed so maybe hopefully it will end up being the same cover after all!

For clarification purposes, digistack is how star wars the complete saga was packaged, right?

It's a myth that the cardboard sleeves in the Kubrick/Alien/Star Wars sets scratch discs. I own several of them and they have zero scratches after multiple plays. It's more attributed to user error, but people never want to take blame themselves, so they blame glossy cardboard instead.

It's a hangover from DVD days when box sets like the Buffy series caused all kinds of headaches. The discs would be tightly held in lined cardboard pockets and you had to extract the disc by pulling on the sliver of disc visible at the edge of the pocket. Personally I always found proper cases with rigid hubs more problematic. I snapped an R1 Sherlock Holmes disc in two pulling it off its hub.
