I wonder if new releases will filter into this sale, instore.

The last 3 for £20, the ellesmere port branch had the miramax titles in it n release day. Films like mimic, from dusk til dawn, good will hunting, the others. Other shops didn't and were selling for £24 each.

Did they have any arrow films in the deal. They're always expensive. £17.99 +

When I was in store they told me new titles would constantly be added, but dunno if they were just trying to get rid of me.

Wow. Didn't clock any in the Manchester market street sale. Each store with different titles again.

I'd be amazed if the supermarkets weren't stocking Indy and Bond - they all did Star Wars, and arguably these are more popularist products amongst supermarket customers (especially Bond).

I doubt you'll find the Hitchcock set in there tho.

Bond and Hitchcock (the big set) may be just to big and expensive for supermarkets to stock. They may be pretty close to £100 in-store and not worth the effort. (Unless they put them in those big clear cases like ASDA do with Two and a Half Men and Thomas the Tank Engine et cetera).

Indy will definitely go to the supermarkets I'd imagine as it won't be any bigger then the big sets on offer. At a lot cheaper price as well.

Seems that this offer is there yo stay. It was due to finish next month but a friend working in there told me that its been far more successful than anticipated and the plan is to let it run as an ongoing offer with new titles bring added.

I picked up;

- Horrible Bosses
- Jurassic Park
- Close Encounters
- Starship Troopers
- Shaun Of The Dead
- District 9

Annoyingly, the other HMV in Birmingham had a slightly different selection, so I discovered a lot of variation in titles.

As if I hadn't bought enough there already and also at Fopp Bristol last week, I got:

2012 (With slip)
The Last King Of Scotland (With slip)
Blazing Saddles
Deja Vu - RIP Tony Scott
Memento

I saw loads of different titles I wanted that weren't there last time

It was sad to see in the window that the Birmingham Pavilions store is closing. Only the one in the Bull Ring will be left, which probably explains why they were rearranging everything in there the other week
