Of course they will have one, if there is one thing you can always count on its US releases always get the goodies that ours don't lol

If you want them all to look the same though you can just remove all the slips.

True but that's not the point.

The UK is constantly getting screwed over with new releases. I think it's time to move country!

Tried to cancel my Amazon UK order but no luck. That's probably off to eBay then to scour for an US slipcover (a product which costs 35 GBP and they can't be bothered to include a slip which costs what, 50 cent at most? :'))

I have just come to accept that the majority of UK releases are inferior in one way or another to their US counterparts, depending on the film I will either just accept it or I will import the US release.

Disney UK's reaction to the whole Avengers BD issue is what I can see happening more and more 'if you want such and such then you can always import it'

At least they upgraded the audio on Season 3 and now Season 4 to DTS-HD, the first 2 seasons have DTS-HD and TrueHD logos plastered on the packaging but are both regular DD5.1

The little books would have no where to go then!

It seems completely crazy that Warner Bros. would have the 1 and 2 season box set with two slip covers to accommodate the books and the individual cases and go to no slip cover for season four.

Amazon confirmed me that there is no slipcover...
So I guess I'm going to have to import from the US. I prefer to have a US slipcover even if that changes a bit my collection than no slip at all.

When people get theirs could they tell me what the differences are with the director's cuts? I'd only seen each episode once before purchase so hardly know the episodes inside out but I've watched two DCs and struggled to notice anything different. My guess at the moment is that there might be a few shots of violence that maybe they didn't show on broadcast

I don't know but would be interested to know the differences

I haven't seen Season 4 yet but it is quite possible it are only a few extra shots. This was also the case with the Director Cuts in Season 1 IIRC.

id like a slip but at the end of the day its hilarious when a piece of cardboard becomes more important than the product itself hahahaha

so if no slip came with any release I bet there would be people who wouldnt buy it at all.

they shaould make Slip cover the movie the tagline should be something like 'In the future..people only care about cardboard' ....screw the tree's

The lack of a slipbox is annoying because it is whole season on Blu-ray. Every single series box (BCC docu's, Star Wars films etc.) I have received have had a slipbox. When you consider the Clone Wars season boxsets got worse (no embossing on S2, no production art book on S3 and now no S4) and the price remains the same, people get a bit aggravated that they couldn't bother to include a slipbox, which costs a few cents to mass produce .

I can't say I care that there is no slipcover. If you remember this show is aimed at kids and they prob assume kids don't care about no slipcover either.

I'm just glad they didnt do a Disney and do things like made a really poor transfer, cut out scenes despite being shown on kids tv, downgrade the audio from our American friends and worst of all say its either not their fault or we are imagining things.

yeah it would be nice to have the stuff we did for first 2 seasons, but as long as quality is good, there are no cuts im happy. Id prefer more extra features though than a slip or fancy cover.

Apart from the fact the arc commentaries from S2 and S3 were less comprehensive than the individual commentaries from S1 (obviously don't know how good the S4 ones are, they have changed the setup a bit so who knows), I see little more that could be added if you include the Jedi Archives bonus material?

No slip cover from Sainsbury's...I'm not too bothered about it though as I bought the 1-3 boxset.

The only reason I want a slip is the first 3 seasons were released with one. Had they been released without it I wouldn't care less but the quality of the packaging and the extras has been decreasing since the first season.

Whilst the price has remained the same!

Finished watching the series today Was very happy with the PQ all in all. Some minor banding issues in the second to last episode but overall I was very happy with it. The arc on Umbara was particularly incredible. Arguably the best thing they've done on the show.

What are peoples opinions on the show anyway? I feel like the show has changed quite a bit since it started. Do people like where the show has gone over the last couple of seasons or do people prefer the approach and vibe of the episodes in season 1 and 2?

I just want a bit of fun for half an hour, while some of the early ones are just mindless Jedi action the latest stuff is a bit deep for my taste if they could find a middle ground between the two it would be fantastic!

The animation just gets better and better as well!

I only use Sainsburys because they can be cheaper than the competition. I dont mind the wait if im making a saving. Unlike HMV which charge more and still turn up late.
