Off topic, but can't remember where you and I were talking about it. With the Walmart steelie unwrapped, had to use one of my last handful of 12mm plastic bags that fit steelies perfectly. It's coming down to the wire and wish I had bought a thousand of these damned things before they went extinct. They were only $6 for each hundred, but who knew they wouldn stop making the perfect sizes?!?

You check near the registers? Mine have the dreaded case in the media section, but at the registers, they hardly have those cases attached.

My store is the same way for the first few hours on release day, but by around noon, even those have the coffins on them.

Why I always hit Target at 8:00 a.m. for new releases I really want.

Yeah tell me about it. I have a few my opened SB's housed in those and no regret not getting them.

Speaking of Target again, sad that they continue this practice on the grounds that it decreases or deters people from stealing. Last time I checked a person that wants to steal something is going to do it regardless of what the thing is in. And yes it'll take longer but I guess if they really want it they'll get it. I was in WM the other day looking around and someone stole the DVD copy of the new Buddies movie. The case was right where the new releases were. I guess they really wanted a copy of it.

They destroy a lot of slips at my local target too. Unfortunately a lot of other stores in my area seem to throw out slips. (walmart, best buy)

Luckily I have two Targets they don't yet use the coffins, granted are both in the wealthy suburbs so I guess that is probably why.

I always look for the oversized coffins as the slips are usually mint most of the time since there's room to spare. I don't collect slips though so I don't know why I go looking for them that way . Got a whole bunch of slips just sitting in a box for no reason.
