Target Amazon t0 Target

I had pre-ordered the Amazon copy but as soon as I heard that Target had a steel book, I had to get it. The artwork was really good as well. Going to return the amaze copy as it is unopened

Target Target SteelBook is the first of its kind in my collection.

This is my first SteekBook and I doubt it will be my last, it worked out perfect because I am selling the DVD on eBay so the Bonus Disc fits in the spot where the DVD sat. I also taped the UPC inside. And I just love the matte finish on it!
PICS of mine>
[Show spoiler]

Also its gonna end up being very cheap.
When I went to Target I first bought some dog bones which gave me a $5 Gift Certificate. Then I bought the SteelBook which was $22.99 and exactly $2.00 tax so $24.99 minus the $5GC = $19.99 out the door. I then sold the UV and iTunes DC for $5 for both so my cost right now is at $14.99 and the DVD has one bid so far.... right now I will for sure make another ~$5 profit after eBay, P.P. fees & shipping. So as of right now this sweet SteelBook has cost me ~$9.99 and if the DVD gets more bids (which is highly likely)my cost can only go down.

Default Easy decision on purchase choice

Yesterday, My buddy in South Carolina texted me a WalMart ad that showed the Bluray set with exclusive disc for 18.96.

Today I went to WalMart (I never venture to one) in San Diego. Although the sign and sticker price said 22.96, at the resister is rang up for 18.96! Easy decision. So happy I waited for WalMart to drop the price.

Passed on this release as it I didn't care for it. I feel Tarantino's best work is Jackie Brown and Inglourious Basterds

Default Finally Bought the Target Steelbook

I kept reading the reviews and postings about the film to see if I'd want to blind buy it. I enjoy most of Tarantino's films but hated Inglourious Basterds.

Every evening when I leave work, I kept debating on whether to stop at the Target on the way home but I wouldn't. Then in the mornings, I'd check online to see if the Target had it in stock and they do.

Finally this morning, I checked to see if they had it in stock and the website didn't have it. Weird. So I decided at the last minute, on the way home to get it.

Got to Target and went to the movies section. It was a mess. Saw plenty of regular version of blu-ray but none of the SB. Was so discouraged. Then went to the front where the displays were at the cashier and saw ONE COPY!!!!

For some reason, it made it so sweet. Hope the movie is good but I am just happy to have such a cool looking blu-ray. Total came to $24.37.

The worst part is that the steelbook even has the notches in place for a disc holder to put the bonus disc in. It's like it's mocking you that they didn't include that in the case. I think they just cheap'd out. I'm almost thinking of taking out one of the separate holders in one of my other blu's and putting it in the steelbook so I stop seeing those naked notches staring at me every time I open it.

If you hated Inglorious Basterds there's a pretty big chance you won't like Django Unchained.

They get new shipments of stuff throughout the week. Why not just wait a couple of days for them to re-stock if that was the one you really wanted?

+1, or why not just get a raincheck if it was in their recent ad?
