Default Photos of your double/triple/MULTI dips

I made my 3rd triple dip today and it made me think that it might be fun to post pictures of specifically just MULTI-dip movies. Some people will have 3+ but my thought was that as we make the "crazy" purchase to buy something we already have it would be fun to post...

I'm surprised I didn't get any responses here. I've seen people post pics of their 8 or 9 versions of the same steel.?? No one else gonna bite?

Nice thread idea and cool photos!

But I think you created it in the wrong forum, maybe you should ask a mod to move it to the • Collectibles and Limited Editions forums. I think there'll be much more people over there who appreciate your thread

Thanks. Honestly, I never know which forum to post these in when I create one. How do I ask the mods to move it?

Just message one of them and send them the link to your thread and ask them to move it. crazyBLUE seems to be the most active Mod so I would message him

Nice steel. I just checked out your collection and I have to same I'm really surprised with some of the collectible and special editions that you have that they weren't a double or triple dip. DVD you just sell the original when you get the newer/delux/3D/ or steelbook/digibook edition?

I can understand double dipping on something with different artwork, but I don't get buying 4 of the same steelbook from different countries.

I guess if I had the cash and wanted EVERYTHING -- but I was thinking the same thing.

Yeah, I don't collect different copies from each country, but I understand collecting. The more unique the collection, the more satisfaction it brings the collector. The one thing about collecting copies from every country that releases them, is the amount of research and work that goes into it is incredibly difficult, but also very rewarding when accomplished.

I used to collect Star Wars figures. One day a co-worker of mine looked at my shelves and said "wow- I can tell you spent alot of time tracking all those down". That was probably one of the first times I realized that it was the "hunt" that I enjoyed so much. Not anything else.

You have to actually like the items you collect, but for true collectors, the more difficult it is to get parts of the collection, the more enjoyable it is. I started importing steelbooks last year and I can tell you it is really fun to have something that almost no one else in your country has. I have a copy of Iron Man that was 1 of 4000 and probably one of 200 in the US. That is pretty cool.

Very nice - now you need to grab the steelbook from Walmart next week when it's only $10 to complete it!

Love that digibook! I need one.

I had a whole lot more but was able to sell them on eBay. I also had triple dips from the WB steels Best Buy had last year for $5 but decided to return them. I put the remastered Terminator disc in the digibook. I'm gonna try to sell the 2nd row, Watchmen & Coraline amarays on eBay

Love those digi-books. I can understand most of those double dips. I don't understand returning the steelbooks if they were only $5, but that's just me. Nice collection.

I also replaced my Terminator disc with the remastered one on my digibook. I am still in the process of selling my amaray. I did the same with my Patton digibook.

I nearly bought the steelbook from Canada but I didn't like the art work.
