**DOG SOLDIERS UPDATE**

We regret to inform you that we are moving the release date for DOG SOLDIERS again…but hopefully for good reason. The new official street date is now 6/23/15.

The film’s Director, Neil Marshall, has recently found potentially better film elements for us to work with so that we can create a new HD transfer. In order for us to do this, we need more time and why a delay was prompted.

We really debated postponing this underrated gem again but we know that many of you have requested a new transfer (better than the previous Blu-ray release) and we want to exhaust every avenue to bring one to you. Once we look at the elements, we’ll keep you posted on the status of it. We hope you understand our position on this and we appreciate your patience.

I have it preordered with New Year's Evil, a $10 discount code, and free shipping (order had to be over $40). I'm curious what will happen to my order. If they keep it backordered, probably nothing. If they cancel it... who knows?

They won't cancel it. They were going to ship separately anyway. (I have it preordered with the Blacula double feature and had $10 off as well).

From what I've heard, anything would be better than the current transfer so even if the elements aren't in the best shape, they'll probably go ahead with the new transfer.

Fantastic news! I was going to get this release anyway, despite the shortcomings. Now to hear that a new transfer might happen, just make this pick-up much, much, better!

You'd think that if the elements did turn out to be superior, and were in fact being used for the disc, they would have made some sort of statement to that effect on Facebook. Obviously there are still almost four months before release, so they may very will still be working on the transfer, but it is something to keep an eye on.
