LEGO Marvel Superheroes, Warframe and Contrast.

Still need to complete Outlast (think I'm close to done with that one) and have a ways to go in Resogun (think I've only unlocked 2 or 3 levels).

Kind of forcing myself to play Knack even though I kind of loath it. It can be ridiculously frustrating much of the time. It got to the point that I had my wife play co-op and I'm just letting her attack the enemies. Either way I play, not a whole lot of fun really. And of course you can't change the difficulty after you start a New Game.

I surprisingly got into playing Zen Pinball. I had the first Star Wars tables for free through Plus on the PS3. I've enjoyed it enough that I bought the Avengers pack and one or two other tables. Pretty fun in 3D as well.

Tried sum Strider. Kinda fun side-scroller. Wasted all my energy before getting to the 1st boss. Oops. My energy bar always stayed 1/3rd full. Glitch? Dunno

Injustice: Gods Among Us is probably my biggest gaming waste of money ever. A completely unconventional control scheme for seasoned PS3 or PS4 users, with sloppy implementation of the analog stick and extremely picky or awkward timing for combination moves. I can not even finish the tutorial after over an hour of trying, because I honestly can not even figure out what the F it expects me to do.

Sad to hear this. I've actually been enjoying it. The control scheme is a bit different but it is doable & this is coming from a long time MK fan.

Man it's kicking my ass. I've never played a fighting game before. I finally got through the tutorial, but only by luck. The criteria for a reversal attack are way to strict. Finished chapter one on medium difficulty, but it was a complete button mash. I just can't remember all the combos and special moves. The Joker beat me the first time.

After playing PS3 games since UC, the first, it is so unnatural to jump using the left stick. I don't know, if I can ever overcome the natural reflex to jump using like nearly all other games. My bigger problem, though, is that the horizontal channel for the left stick seems very narrow. Maybe +/- 10 or 15 degrees from east and west, so I go to block or simply move, and I end up crouching or jumping.

It's an eye-hand game, the type of which are beginning to humble me. It's just a simple fact of life that your ability to visually process relatively complex events and manual responses to visual stimuli really start to deteriorate in your 40s, and I always wonder when my ability to pick games up rapidly or at all is age related. And it may just be that I need to invest a little time, and it will come to me. Batman: AA was extremely difficult, too, at first, but I managed to master it enough to make it easy. Hopefully, if I find the game fun enough, I can become good enough at it.

Trying to get AC:BF to 100%. And then maybe play some of the DLC before Thief.... might be close.

Shit you telling me! I'm definitely not as quick as I used to be with the fighting games. :embarrassed: However, the Story mode on this game is pretty interesting. And you won't catch me using the thumbsticks on this game! It's the D-pad all the way! Some habits can't be broken!

I was about to suggest the D-PAD. It works well with Injustice. I tried the sticks but character just jumps around when trying to crouch. Most experienced 2D fighter gamers would never use the D-PAD.

As for the learning curve of combos you just gotta stick with 1 fighter. Repetition definitely helps in these games.
